Description:
Just want to relax and chill in the sun, then welcome to the Queens Bay Hotel, probably the best 3 star Hotel in Cyprus. Set in its own well-kept gardens that lead down to a cute natural lagoon. The Queens Bay is the choice if you want a soothing, calming tranquil holiday. The Queens Bay is situated in a wonderful location, set back from the main road with beautiful views of the sea and mountains and dramatic sunsets in the evenings as seen from the pool terraces, which add to the serenity of this hotel.
Transportation:
The hotel can be found below the picturesque village of Kissonerga, which has many excellent local tavernas, bars and restaurants. Queens Bay is also half way between the famous ancient site of The Tombs of the Kings and the popular beach spot of Coral Bay, with quick and easy access to Paphos town and harbour, with its ancient Venetian fort and sidewalk cafes and restaurants.

| We booked this hotel as a last minute booking and only as bed and breakfast so cannot comment on the restaurant, although the breakfasts were good. We certainly did the right thing. We were very impressed when we woke the next day and saw what a lovely position it was in (on the cliff top) and the facitlities looked and were impressive. Our only complaint is the air conditioning as it didnt seem to work for us and we had daytime temperatures of 43C whilst we were there. We would definitely book again and with any luck stay longer as we never got chance to do much in the hotel or on the island. |
