| Very comfortable 'motel' style rooms, some with balconies overlooking gardens.Breakfast menu good at this price point.
Main disappointment was lack of a bar or resaurant during low season resulting in a long trek to the nearest eatery. |

| The main restuarant was being refurbished during my stay but the room was clean, comfortable and well serviced. |

| I must admit, after reading several reviews, my expectations were rather low for the York Leura Gardens Resort. I was pleasantly surprised at my experience at the resort. The staff was friendly from the moment we arrived;they were knowledgable and were able to answer several questions about the local businesses and attractions. The room was ready & clean. Plus, the hotel had several amenities I did not expect (such as a DVD player in the room and a pool/spa, and "business center" with a PC where I could check my emails). The resort is a bit on the older side and caters more towards the traveling family. But, for the price of the room and the friendliness of the staff, I would give this a solid 3 out of 4 stars. |
