Hotel Features. Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village's free- standing cottages occupy a secluded, forested bush land setting inhabited by a variety of wildlife and many species of plant life found only in the park vicinity. Abundant wildlife is likely to be spotted, including wallabies, wombats, pademelons (small kangaroo-like animals), ravens and currawongs, which closely resemble ravens. Entrance fees are charged during peak visiting periods. The park is a part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.

Just over an hours drive from Burnie & Devonport, 2 hours from Strahan & Launceston & 4 hours from Hobart. Coaches depart Launceston and Devonport to cradle Mountain Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
You will find us 3kms after the turn off to Cradle Mountain on the right hand side.
