Whiski Jack at the Weston Resort and Spa is a joke. The couch in our living room was tattered and torn so badly the foam was poking out. The furnishings were not something I would expect out of a cheap tawdry motel. What was worse is that the management of the Weston could do nothing and would do nothing to rectify the situation. They said it was not their responsibility. So we tried calling Andrea the Raintree representative for Whiski Jack who would not return any calls. Frankly, when I left my room, I loved Whistler and the Weston resort. But when I returned to my room, I felt like I was being treated poorly because neither the management at Raintree nor at the Weston cared about the condition of the room. When I checked out, I asked if the unit was rented by someone else. I was assured it was and that it would be in the same condition as it was for me and the guest prior to me. I have stayed at numerous timeshares over the years and own 3 including the Club Regina in Cabo. These Whiski Jack units are a sham and it is a shame.

This is an too expensive a hotel to be overwhelmed by a finacial services conference of which it was during my stay. The spa was booked solid which was upsetting and it was very hard to get dinner reservations through the concierge desk.

The hotel room was very clean, and quite at night. The bed and pillows was very comfortable, no bach-ache or neck-ache the next morning. We stayed on the 9th floor facing the shops. The close proximity to the shops and ski gondolas was perfect. The food was very good and the service was fast. The night life was great. The only issues we had were the hidden costs: hotel parking $25/night & the Spa Resort club fee $13/day.

Overall, I enjoyed the hotel. But, our bathroom had mold around the shower and there were some small holes in the curtains. Unfortunately, the bar was closed during our stay. The room service messed up our order and even after we called we still didn't get everything we ordered.

Very nice place with friendly staff. Remember to bring your own drinks because the water is very expensive.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going on a ski vacation. The Salomon rental shop was very convenient with valet services both at the slopes for returning equipment to the hotel, and overnight storage of equipment. The lift ticket stand and loading points for both gondolas were only steps away from the hotel.
