Distance to Waldhotel Stephanshöhe is 50 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The airport has an underground railway station with shuttle trains to the city centre. The S-Bahn station is located on the terminal building's lower level. The fare for a single ticket is around 2 EUR, and the journey time is 20 minutes. Trains run from Dresden to Altenberg station. Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 20 EUR. An airport coach departs every 30 minutes for the city centre, and the fare is around 15 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. A private car is needed to explore regions not serviced by public transportation.
