1930s villa, located in a quiet residential area of Venice Lido,
located only 200 metres from the boat station to and from S Marco Square, reachable day and night by boat in only 12 minutes. A rich breakfast buffet with a choice of organic products is served in the summer in the graceful garden of Villa.
Rooms: Villa Casanova has recently been refurbished according to the latest bio-architectural principles. It offers bright, elegant and peaceful rooms with some of them overlooking the gardens on Mansard Floor. All rooms have en suite bathroom, furnished in walnut wood and handmade iron beds, decorated in accordance with Venetian textiles. Air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, hairdryer and telephone in all rooms.
On the Mansard and Upper Floors, the ancient wood floor and roof timbers were treated with natural oil, as were all of the house's windows.

Transportation: If you arrive by train, your starting point is the S. Lucia railway station. The "Vaporetto" number one stop is just outside the station. It takes you on a ride through the Grand Canal lasting about 55 minutes. The number 51 is a more direct to route to the Lido. The cost is about EUR 3.50 one way. If you like, there is also a ticket pass for 24 hours or 72 hours.
If you arrive by car, take a ferry boat directly to the Lido. It leaves every 35 minutes from the Tronchetto area.
It is very easy to reach our villa from Marco Polo Airport.
When you arrive at Marco Polo Airport, catch the Alilaguna water bus.
The ticket costs EUR 10.00 and it takes 55 minutes to reach Lido. When you arrive at Lido, turn immediately right (A. Gallo street) and go straight on for 40 metres across the little bridge and continue straight on. After 30 metres, turn left (O. Partecipazio street). We are the 4th red villa on the left.
When you arrive in Treviso Airport, there is a bus shuttle from there to
Venice "Piazzale Roma" (about 50 minutes). When you are in Piazzale Roma-Venice, take the direct line number 51 (it is a water bus) and you will reach Lido in about 35 minutes.
When you arrive at Lido, take an immediate right. After about 70 metres, you will see a little bridge, cross it and go straight on for 40 metres, take the left and we are the 4th large red Villa on your left.
The water-bus ticket is quite expensive. It is better for you to buy a 24 hour (EUR 10.50) or a 72 hour ticket (EUR 20.00). It will be valid for all water bus lines and also for the buses in Lido.
