We live in Italy, near Napoli, so the visit to Villa Angelica and the Lido di Venezia was quite an excellent and refreshing break. The staff was very helpful with 'local' information that maximized our time and kept us from wandering around like lost tourists. I will bring my family here again, without a doubt!

Very nice hotel with good service. The staff even prepared us a "take away breakfast" on our last morning because we had to leave very early! I will definitely stay again in Villa Angelica if I go back to Venice.

Nice hotel in a nice quiet part of Lido but very handy to the vaporetta. Rooms are clean and the owners are very friendly. Just make sure you don't get put in a room next to an obnoxiously loud american as the walls aren't that thick. Apart from that, Lido is definitely checking out.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Villa Angelica for 5 nights and can thoroughly recommend it. The Lido itself is easily accessible from Venice but is a lot quieter, slower and far more relaxed. Everywhere in the hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were bright, modern and attractive. Every morning we were promptly served a breakfast in the garden at the rear of the building at the time we had specified. The breakfast menu was selected from a list that we completed the previous evening and we thought the quality was excellent. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. If we ever decide to return to Venice we would have no hesitation in staying on the Lido at Hotel Villa Angelica. It is an ideal venue for couples with or without children.

A very nice, quite small hotel on Lido of Venezia. The room was pretty and clean but not really spacious. The towels needed getting used to because they looked more like sheets or tablecloth :-) If you want to get dry after having a shower, you should use your own towels. The service was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a little poor: unfortunately no eggs and no kind of sausages were served. But the coffee was great! The location can't be better: a short 5 minutes walk to get to the beach and 10 minutes to the ferries. The surrounding was quiet and nice. Parking space is not available in the hotel. For us it was no problem to find a free parking spot but maybe we were just lucky devils?! All in all Villa Angelica offers a good quality for a low rate.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The Lido is only 10 minutes by water taxi to St Marks, so you are close to all the sights but you don't have to stay in the centre of all the hustle and bustle- a perfect combination. This hotel was the best we stayed in during our trip to Italy, excellent value for money. If I ever return to Venice I will definitely book here again and have already recommended it to some friends.

Beautifull accomodation, very friendly people. Allthough the room was a bit small, it was very nice and clean. It's in a very quit and relaxed area. Only one minor comment, the walls of the room where rather thin and we had realy noisy neighbours.

Villa Angelica is wonderful! The rooms are beautiful, the staff is very kind and helpful and the location is great. It's only 5 minutes to the beach in one direction and 5 minutes to restaurants and the water taxi in the other direction. I highly recommend this hotel- we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house situated in a very quiet area. Excellent location, just 10 minutes from the water bus station. Friendly staff always ready to help you. We expected a bigger room, the pictures are a bit deceiving in this respect. Breakfast O.K. Better bring your own hair-dryer if you need one (minor aspects). All in all, I recommend Villa Angelica and would definetely come back myself.

Helpful staff. Very responsive to email inquiries. Clean room. Very quiet location, and easy to find. For those who don't mind the trip back and forth from Venice. Breakfast is very limited in choice. Since we were there in April, it was too cold to eat out, but that is probably nice.

Great spot to stay at when visiting Venice. It is on Lido so you can drive there and take the ferry to Venice whenever you want. The only problem is parking. You have to park on another street but that is OK since you probably won't use a car much anyways.

Absolutely beautiful! Don't let anyone tell you that staying in the Lido is a bad idea. This hotel was clean, friendly, has an outdoor patio, was on a great little street a short walk from the vaparetto- all in all a great find. We recommend it without reservation.
