A good basic hotel for Pisa. It's quite a walk from the Leaning Tower (about 20 minutes), but the upside is that the hotel is in a quiet area. I also appreciated the Internet service, which is reasonably priced.

This hotel, taking into account the price and facilities available, was by far the best we experienced in Italy (versus Florence and Rome). Highlights were free internet, fridge in room, very large room, the "best" breakfast (incl in price), walking distance (and we have 2 young children) to tower, city centre and train station.

Hotel bonito aunque el baño un tanto pequeño. Un pelín caro, pues no está al lado de la torre de Pisa.

This hotel was lovely. We had a quad (for a family of four) and it was very spacious. It was in a nice neighborhood, near the river, which was beautiful to walk along in the evening. It was not in the immediate vicinity of the Tower, but we preferred that. (It's not a big city, so the Tower is not a long walk away.) For the price, this was a great hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

Holiday first time in Pisa, hotel was very central to everything, rooms were very good, but the second room we had was near the central air conditioning unit and was very noisy.

As a family of 3 (age 40, 40 and 13), this hotel was ideal for our stay in Pisa. Stayed for 3 nights. Upon arrival the man at reception was a little miserable, was obviously hard work to smile. You also got the feeling from the breakfast staff that you were an inconvenience to them in the morning, as none of them could raise a smile. They appear to be quite unhelpful too. Breakfast was adequate, but no fresh fruit available. That aside the hotel was excellent value for money and clean. However, to walk to the tower, (the main reason for going) took about 30 minutes. Good idea to have a satnav with you if driving as well, due to all the one-way roads around the hotel.

Hotel is clean and welcoming and in a quiet location. Good breakfast was provided and the staff were efficient but friendly at the same time.

Not a very warm welcome as we arrived quite late in the evening, but neither unwelcoming. The room we stayed in was nice, quite as it was situated at the back, so no noise from outside. Breakfast was rather simple. The hotel is well situated in a quite area, walking distance from the main sites. We had the pleasure to discover 2 very good restaurants round the corner.

This was the first time we stayed and would definitely stay again. Breakfast was very good with plenty of food. The Leaning Tower is only 10 - 15 minutes walk away. We travelled with a friend who had a single spacious room.

Only complaint we had was the fold down bed. We booked a triple room, and the 3rd.bed provided was most uncomfortable. We travelled Italy for 3 weeks, with triple share accomodation the whole way,and this was the only Hotel that did not provide a comfortable 3rd. bed. Also was a 20min. walk to Leaning Tower etc. Lovely walk if you are able, may be too far for some people.

We stayed at the Verdi twice. The hotel is in a quiet location about 10 minutes walk from the Leaning Tower. The first room we had was very dark and quite small but the second one was big. Both rooms were quiet, clean and the reception staff were helpful. The public areas are quite small so this is not a hotel to stay in and relax at.

Best feature is the great location - lights in hotel room not working when we arrived - coffee machine not working correctly at breakfast. Instructions on how to arrive by bus from main station would be useful. Friendly staff - would return to this hotel.

We arrived quite late in the evening at the hotel and were pleased to find the receptionist (who spoke excellent English) very helpful. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom and the shower was good. Our only criticism was the very noisy air conditioning which contributed to a bad nights sleep for two out of three of us. Breakfast was sufficient although it was a pity the only coffee available was from a machine. They were happy to let us leave our luggage there while we explored the city as we were leaving later that day. On the whole a very good experience.

This hotel is ideal for a one night stopover. Very close to Pisa and the railway station where we walked from. The room was very disappointing though. Not only small with a window that looked out to a brick wall, but also the smallest bathroom I've ever seen. Luckily we were only here for a night. There is a small square down the road with a number of restaurants around it. We picked the least commercial looking one and it was fantastic. It looked like Mamma's kitchen. Menu's written in Italian only on scrap paper with half a dozen items to chose from. You couldn't order a bad meal. Wonderfull. Oh and there's a tower down the road too.

Not easy to find the hotel. Comparing the hotel with other hotels we lived in Italy, the price is a little expensive. Ventilator in the bathroom doesn't work.

We had a triple room which was a bit cramped. The third bed was a fold out settee. If we had not taken a taxi to the hotel I doubt if we would have found it. It is OK once you become familiar with the surroundings.
