Great location, near the Termini station and metro station. Good restaurant downstairs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was clean. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again and would recommend it as good value for the money and location.

the hotel offers inclusive breakfast which goes beyond that expected in a hotel in this price band. also it is located within walking distance of the tram system which takes you anywhere within Nice for 1 euro.

Hotel is located into short step distance from old town and beach, easy to access to there. Receptionists are nice, and helps any requests or to answer for the questions which I made. Coin laundry is located just in front of hotel, good for long stay or who are in middle of trip. My room is located to backyard side of hotel so no noise through the night for good sleep. One thing remarks that room keepers talks loud during their duty, sometimes I feel bit nervous but if you are not stay inside of hotel during the day time, of course no problem about it. Room size is bit small but acceptable.

Outside traffic noise was our only issue with our stay. It was quite noisy at all hours. If I stayed again, I would request a room opposite the streets. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location for tourist items was great.

Vendome ist eines der nettesten Hotels, in denen ich je übernachtet habe. Klein, aber sehr fein und mit einem Hauch von Luxus.

Good hotel for price. While not on the sea, hotel is within a few blocks of numerous restaurants and the convention center. Very friendly reception. Room was small, relatively plain, but comfortable with a nicely updated bath. Good airconditioning and very quiet. I would stay here again.

Very nice hotel, the location is a little farther from the train station than we initially thought; but there is bus service that runs close by. The decoration was very nice for a three star hotel and we were pleasantly surprised by the large room size.

a bit of a walk from the train station, but i didn't mind. the beach is a 10 min walk, straight down the road. the prices were high, but what do you expect for the middle of august. i would stay there again.

Room was tiny but clean which was the key. Bathroom was fine. Does have a balcony but you have to climb thru the window to get to it. Overall, decent place with decent location. A bit pricey but no choice in southern France during the summer.

Location had a quiter more mature neighborhood feel but it very good for access to a variety of areas including the museums, the main shopping streets and the old city. This is strictly a city view hotel with nice parlor room but otherwise basic decor and a bit economy minded. The staff are very warm and friendly and helpful for recomendations and directions. The on-site parking is a real advantage since parking is very difficult in Nice. Rooms are somewhat small but kept very clean and the bathroom was nicely tiled yet also small. Air conditioning was just OK but really needs to be stronger considering the very hot summer days in Nice. Towels were also showing signs of wear. We skipped the standard tourist breakfast as there are wonderful places nearby to get much better offerings, especially the patisserie around the corner. A 5 minute walk and you're in the old city with tons of choices.

The location is good. The hotel is very nice. The noise is low with the windows and curtains closed, which is possible due to air-conditioning. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was full of dirty plates at every table when we came down near the time for closing of breakfast, so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast. That breakfast room is small and crowded. The breakfast staff were not helpful or welcoming.

I think this was an excellent value for the price, the location is very good for someone not interested in the beach, but using the hotel as a base to visit the area. Especiallt if you like to visit and eat in the old part of town.

Hotel Vendome states that it is a 3-star hotel, for what was offered (the size and quality of room) it would not rate as a 3-star hotel in Ireland. I had a few problems after our booking was confirmed by the hotel. But found the staff very efficient at resolving the problem (by e-mail). The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Having stayed in France a few times, a general observation would be that the rooms are much smaller than would expect for a 3-star hotel. James Glennon
