There were 6 of us staying here for two nights and we absolutely loved it. Literally a stone's throw from the Vatican City walls, this place is in tip-top shape with a very modern flair. The only negative thing I could say about this place is their choice of wall decorations, somewhat depressing. But the showers were impressive, beds were comfortable and clean, the kitchen was fully equipped -- they even had coffee and milk waiting for us. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling in groups!

Fantastic apartment Huge space for two teenagers. They were extremely pleased to have so much space. Enjoyed each having their own room for the week. Lots of food and two bathrooms.Access to a computer and internet and the landlord was very helpful even organising the cab when we left. Very close to lots of shops and being on the hill gave us beautiful views, The balcony was lovely. Very warm heating for winter. We were able to just walk to many conveniences and also very close to public transport as it was next to the vatican. Had a great stay in this beautiful apartment and would stay again.

---------------------------------------------- In English: We did like this apartment very much ('grandma', first floor, landlord rents also other apartments in this building)! We expected worse in Rome thus we were surprised at our arrival. We were a group of 2 couples. The apartment is spacious enough. The kitchen and the bathro

You are first visited by a barking dog. Children were very upset by this. Not a welcome we expected. There is no tea or coffee making facility in the room. The property / rooms are on the main road and it is very noisy even in the late hours of the night. The windows are not insulated. The overhead warm air heaters do not work properly. The fridge frezees the drinks rather than keeping them cool. The main bedroom has a very low level bed not suitable for people with back problems or elderly. The shower cubicle is very small - if the soap falls on the floor; you will struggle to pick it up. Breakfast is in the private quarters of the owners and is visited by the dog in all areas including the kitchen - where the dog's meal tray was also on the table where the breakfast for the guests is prepared. There is no hot food items in breakfast - there all cold items and the bread is very hard. I will not be visiting this place again. I booked for three nights but left after two nights. I would have left after the first night but was unable to find suitalbe accomodation till the following day.

We were very happy with everything! One suggestion is that the owners should display a sign on the street with the name of the accommodation, as it is not easy to find. I would certainly recommend the accommodation.

We would recommend this property to anyone staying in Rome and wanting to see the Vatican. The entrance to the Vatican Museum was about 3 blocks and close to other attractions. We did have trouble identifying the property from the name on the website. It is actually called the Villiano Cecile Bed and Breakfast. The accomodations were very spacious and it was a very clean and well kept place. It is highly recommended if you are traveling with 4 or more people.

As a family of four we were accommodated at Villino Cecilia for four days during our short trip to Rome in the last week of October. Villino Cecilia is a two bedroom appartment with ensuite WC and bathroom. The owners Adriana and Roberto were very frendly and helpful.Breakfast was served every morning in the small garden in front of the appartment. As the house is located very near to a busy street ( Viale Vaticano)the problem is the noise during the night coming from the outside traffic.I think that the owners must focus on making it more soundproof in the near future. Otherwise this B&B is fine, has an excellen location and is value for money. I will happily recommend it.

We stayed there for 5 days in September. A very nice place to stay especially for a family with kids. Centrally located and close to Metro. Breakfast, Italian style, is excellent and filling. They give you fresh delicious doughnuts every morning and tasty, genuine Italian coffee. We did experience quite numerous mosquito bites at night, so it is strongly advisable to take a mosquito repellant, because they do tend to be a nuisance. A slight disadvantage was the lack of hot water late at night. Plenty of it during mornings and afternoons though. All in all it was a very positive experience staying there and I recommend it.

I would like to say that I would recommend villino cecilia to anyone. It was convenient to all the tourist attractions as well as to the subway. The apartments were very nice with a private garden and they had air conditioning which was an added bonus. We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners were very friendly and very accomodating. They provided us with a very nice breakfast each day of our stay. Again, I highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast!!

We are family with 6 month old baby and for us this was an excellent stay. Ther where two different rooms, with airconditioning, in our appartment with a small kitchen, which was enough. The bathroom was small and simple. The owners are very friendly and helpfull.
