Excellent service by Concierge. Breakfast selection was outstanding. We had two rooms, one was exceptional while the other had problems with the toilet (constantly running), door handle to the bathroom (broken) and the TV remote was missing.

the room/hotel was lovely. The only disappointment throughout are stay was the light fingered employees. During turn downs one of the cleaning ladys went into my boyfriends jacket pocket and stole fifty Euro. this put a huge downer on the whole trip.

Very good value for the price. Large clean room, very good breakfast, easy walk from Gare du Midi, tram stop across the street, polite staff. Neighborhood in transition with few places to eat.

It was horrible. The room was not confortable. The TV doesn't work (just one horrible Chanel). The shower was horrible. No water.(very slow....). The towel very small. I asked to the lobby to make me some copy, they can't because they have an old machine..... I asked the lobby to call me a cab and they forgot........ Really this hotel is not a good one.

Just adequate ..not in an ideal location but convenient to the Railway Station. A basic facility but reasonable value for money. An excellent breakfast was included. Would look for a slightly nicer property if returning to Brussels

This hotel is in need of a major renovation however the location is great for the price. It is several blocks from the train station and 2 tube stops from the Grand Place (it can be walked in 15 minutes). This is a perfect hotel if you spend most of your time site seeing and shopping. The price was inexpensive compared to other hotels in the area at 69 euros and they even accomodated us for an extra night when we missed our train for 60 euros/night. Don't expect luxury just a decent hotel for the price and location.

Rooms are spacious and confortable, but there is no lounge or hall of the hotel; it is not to far from the city center and from south station, but what you feel is to be more in a suburb that in the city

L'hôtel donnait sur...la fête foraine de Bruxelles ! Heureusement, les vitres étaient insonorisées... Sinon, bon rapport qualité prix, hotel tout proche du tramway, très pratique pour se rendre dans le centre.

right around the block from the train station. the area was a little shady though. 15 to 20 min. walk to the grand place. felt a little uneasy walking back at night. no problems. i would stay there again.

Great advantage is walking distance from the railroad station. Surroundings aren't high-class and the hotel is a tram ride away from tourist attractions. The desk clerk was more impatient with requests for directions than he needed to be.

As we entered the room, we got impressed because of the spaciousness: we had even a kitchen corner, and a table in front of a corner window. The room was cleaned every day, and so about towels (even if a message was written, they should change only towels on the floor...). Breakfast is very very very rich, and you can find everything you wish, from brioches to eggs and bacon. Hotel is very near underground station, and not far from Gare du Midi (railway station). Rate: excellent!!

hotel ustel is just your typical hotel that tries hard to please but just never quite get there. On arrival, I was made to wait for a long time. The only person on duty seemed so stressed out, trying to fit guest into rooms. The staff i encountered throughout the stay were very helpful and spoke excellent english. maps were provided and directions were clear. The rooms are nothing inspiring. It is fairly cramp but nothing too bad. The breakfast was average for such a hotel. the food was buffet style but they never replace the food fast enough and at times..dont bother in teh last breakfast hour. For example, the bacon was cooked in bulk and left in a container..the fat has coagulated and looks really yuck. The juice was never replaced. ustel is an alright hotel but with the same amount of money, i would rather choose a different one.

Excellent, nice and clean hotel for its price. The room was huge and included a refrigerator and cooking plate. Rather poor surroundings, but only a ten minutes walk to the center of the city.

Ustel is the worst hotel I ever been, it´s located in the middle of an arabic area so its surroundings are very dirty and dangerous. The employees are not kind and they don´t try to help in any way. I don´t recomend this hotel at all and I will never come back for sure.

Great hotel, great service. A carnival was operating across the street and a barker yelled into a megaphone until 1:30 in the morning. Staff knew and did not offer a room on the quiet side of the building upon checkin. We did receive substantial compensation.

Hotel Ustel is close to the station Bruxelles Midi where I arrived and departed. I stayed for 54 Euro per night. For this location and this price the quality is excellent. (My ratings above are related to the price. For 100 Euros per night I would have been not so generous.) The only thing I missed were some fruits at breakfast.
