Beautiful room. Big and spacious, especially considering I was a single traveller. The memory foam mattress and pillow made it difficult to want to leave the hotel room! It was SO comfortable!

What a brilliant hotel! We were on our honeymoon and only stayed for one night but they made us feel very welcome and upgraded us to a superior room as they were aware it was our honeymoon. The room was excellent, very modern. We stayed for dinner that night and the food was excellent, the restaurant is situated on the top floor with bar next to it, with rooftop terrace as well which was amazing!! The staff were very good as well. One word of warning, the hotel is next to a busy road and car park/bus station opposite but this didn't put us off one bit as our room faced this but once the doors are closed you don't really hear anything. Value for money is excellent.

If you have to visit naples, this hotel is a convenient base very close to the station. This hotel was about the only redeeming factor in the 2 nights we spent in Naples. Modern, well fitted out and very reasonably priced. The city itself is categorically the most unappealling place I have ever visited - worse than 3rd world africa. Extremely dirty and not some where to be out walking at night. The best thing that could happen to the city would be another eruption of vesuvious so that they can start again. I would add photos of the scenes of rubbish and chaos in the square outside the hotel but it would not fairly present what is actually a nice hotel. If you you are chosing naples as a base to visit Pompei or herculaneum, stay in Sorrento instead.

As there are only 2 five-star hotels in Naples, we weren't spoilt for choice. Una Napoli is a stunning conversion and the rooms are beautifully appointed, chic and modern; but read between the lines before you book. While we paid extra for a room with a balcony and view, the view was of the filthy street below us and resulting garbage piles. The room had triple-glazing which was a neccesity, as the smog was enough to make us quite woozy. The location is slap-bang in the middle of a con-artist district but the markets are awesome if you're looking for some faux-designer accessories or clothing. Although repeaters may have been installed by now, wireless internet was only available from the restaurant during our stay. The Restaurant was phenomenal - their fillet steak was melt-in-the-mouth. The restuarant balcony had awesome views of the bay. If you know Naples and what to expect, then this is a great hotel, convenient to the rail station etc, and inside this hotel you can relax and forget about the poverty and filth. If you are looking for the romance of Napoli, then you need to go further out. This hotel's location may be a little 'real' for you.

First class hotel, arrived early at the hotel and was given an upgrade at no extra cost. Have just completed a tour of europe staying at numerous 3&4 star hotels and this was by far the best room I was given, The bathroom was excellent and all other services likewise. 5 STAR

A fantastic hotel and ideal for the centre of Naples. Superb value for money, the web site does not do the hotel justice! It is a fabulous place to stay, highly recommended.

Do not be put off by the location of the hotel. We came from the Naples airport on the Alibus. Contrary to what we had thought, the bus did not let us out in front of the dreaded train station. The Piazza Garibaldi is much bigger than expected, and we were let off halfway between the station and the hotel, which faces the station. This provided a less menancing atmosphere or walk to the hotel.

We use Naples as a two night base for visiting Pompei. While we planned on venturing to Sorrento or returning to Naples attractions, Pompei enthralled us and took the whole day. We had heard the Naples crime stories but in reality felt no different than any other city. Una Hotel was the best in class during our two weeks in Italy traveling primarily by train and public transportation services; the room was great, breakfast fantastic (as was dinner) with rooftop seating available. A "discount" market sprouted around the hotel every morning about 5:30 AM (amazing). I don't believe the Una location, quality or price can be beaten for seeing the area of Naples.

Very welcoming front office and concierge staff. The rooms are well appointed with the best bathroom for the price we encountered in Italy. The breakfast/ restaurant is new and modern leading out to a balcony, wonderful setting. My only criticism which is very small is the city may that you're given isn't very good at all and there was no information on the public transport routes. If I was to go to Naples again I would stay at Una Hotel

When arriving in Naples we were concerned with the overall shabby conditions of the surroundings. However the Una Hotel was in deed very satisfactory. The cleanliness and excellent condition of the hotel impressed us. The staff was professional and went out of their way to please. Naples is a beautiful city unfortunately you have to be aware of the pickpockets and thieves that abound. The street are laden with filth and garbage. One would think that the City would clean up if they want to attract tourists. The restaurants were great. We found a small grocery store where we purchased bread and cold cuts for lunch, wine and beer as well as water for only 9 euros. We would definitely recommend the UNA Hotel to all our friends and if we were to return to Naples this is where we would want to stay.

The hotel itself was very nice but the outside location was sketchy and rundown. I would have preferred to stay in a place with better surroundings. Also I would have preferred to have a pool.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. This is clearly a high quality, high class hotel. We got a brilliant price (£70GBP per night) and it was incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough. Stepping off the hectic Naples street into this hotel was like stepping into another world. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was wide-ranging and of a high standard. The rooms were very spacious, clean and well presented. The mini bar drinks were expensive, but no surprise there. The bar is open all day, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dinner is thoroughly recommended if you want high quality food and good service. Book it now!

Very pleasant surprise. Napoli itself is a dump but this is a great little hotel. We stayed in Naples overnight before going to the island next day, this hotel was perfect for the task.

I purposely booked a hotel that was 4 stars (normally 3 stars is fine when I am alone) because Naples has some seedy areas. I also wanted a hotel close to the train station because my main interest was visiting Pompeii and Herculaneum. It all worked out very well. The hotel was very clean, had a great breakfast, and the rooms were large, especially for Italy. Also, if you hang a left out of the front door, there is a good place for pizza or a panino very close by. If you take a right instead, there is shopping.
