Cheap and chearful. Room was drab but acceptably clean. Food next door at Eddie Rockets was pretty good and near enough.

The receptionist asked me 4 or 5 times if I was stayin alone and what my name was. I was not impressed by this as I had a reservation and my name was on the screen in front of her. The tv remote did not work, not that I was using the TV its just it should be working.

The hotel was easy to find. It was convenient to main roads for onward travel.

it was ok but rooms smelt of stale smoke which was surprising as smoking not allowed and we stayed in several places after this and they didnt smell.

It was a cheap place to stay and that is what we got. Very noisy as construction going on outside our window. Not central to town - too far to walk but have stayed in worse.

The accommodation is clean and functional, but the outside catering is fast food style only.

It was a typical Travelodge! You sort of know what you are getting when you book into a Travelodge - basic accommodation with no frills. The value for money isn't great, we stayed in a hotel with breakfast included for much the same price the following night! The dinner and breakfast at "Eddie Rockets" next door was great though!!
