Overall this property was quite good for the money. We had some difficulty (our fault) reaching the contact person. However, she was very helpful in her explanation and direction for the apartment. There were many restaurants and stores near the apartment. Some people complained that it was not near the train. We had to only walk about 5 minutes to the train station. It was quite convenient, actually. The one complaint I have is minor. Across the street from the property is a major construction area. So, not much of a view and rather dusty.

Located in a very suspect neighbourhood...the room we were given was nothing more than part of an apartment broken up into three rooms, and nothing like what we were expecting or hoping for. I guess some would say the owner Renato was helpful, but my partner and I found him overbearing, and for the better part of two hours he gave us a rundown on anything and everything, when all we wanted to do after a long journey was to settle in and relax. Our trip overseas lasted two months, and of the dozen or so hotels and apartments we stayed in through various european cities, this was the most forgettable. Put simply, pick somewhere else.

Great place to stay, convenient to town and tourist attractions. Well looked after with comfortable and spacious accomodation. Highly secure environment. Access to efficient public transport system. Walking distance to fresh Food markets and Restaurants. All amenities available.

We were looking for an apartment in the Aventino and were directed to this property which is outside of the walled city and across the railway tracks, about 1 km from the requested area. The surroundings were less than charming as the apartment was amongst many other highrise concrete apartments. The only conveniences were the local shops which were perhaps less expensive than other locations. The room was confirmed to have two beds but one turned out to be a hideabed and if we chose to use it it would have consumed the remaining available space in the room. The small kitchen was adequate but lacking in some equipment (like pot lids). Staying for a week without a scheduled towel change is not convenient or hygenic. We did make good use of the free internet. I did request a "one week" booking discount but was denied it as apparently staying seven nights does not constitute one week. I would stay here again if I wanted to save money by cooking my own meals.

Very nice one bedroom apartment. Owner picked us up from the metro station in his car at 22:00 and brought us to the apartment. Apartment had full kitchen, a nice balcony, and computer with internet. The owner spoke very good english. The apartment was a 10 minute walk from the train station or metro, and was one train stop from St. Peters and 3 metro stops from the coloseum.

The location of the guest house is totally wrong, I spent almost 1 hr to find it coz the map shown on the website is wrong. And the room pictures shown on the website is different, and the locations needs to take 5 or 6 stops to get attractions. Me and my friend were very very disappointed. We don't recommand to stay.

this appartement is close to the city center. But you have to know, that the entrances of the metro / railwaystation on the side toward the appartment are closed on sunday morning. (we tried to get in at 7.30 am) and it takes 20 minutes walk to get to the main entrance. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would choose this accomodation again.

We get a triple room, cause it offers quite a good price for it. Room was perfectly clean, with a big, clean and tidy toilet too. Staff was very nice and give us some maps and useful information. Some bad things: the room was terribly noisy because a very crowded street is just behind your window. And the hotel is quite a bit far from the center by walking (20'). Oh! and it has no parking. Anyway is a cheap and clean hostel for a couple of days.

Pleasant self-catering apartment, 5 minutes walk to shops, 10 minutes to Metro Line B, 8 minutes to Ostiense main line station, trains to airport, we got direct train to Naples, avoiding trek to Termini Central Station. For the price, very convenient for visits to almost anywhere in Rome, Collesium 10 min walk+10 min on Metro. Good Seaside beach at Ostia Lido 10 mins walk + 30 min train+10 mins walk. There is large apartment, (on fifth floor with good lift) which for our hire was divided in two, with shared entrance hall and front door from main staircase. We had the smaller section, one bed sitting room with double bed, small kitchen and bathroom, shower, bidet/WC. Small balcony overlooks other flats but relativly secluded. Lockable door to shared hallway. Other part of the large apartment had kitchen off shared hallway, two bedrooms, bathroom with bath. Overlooks road, no balcony. Pleasant family in that section when we were there, could risk noise problem if inconsiderate occupants. Check when booking that you have exclusive use of kitchen and bathroom in whatever price you pay, we did have exclusive use, but Renato said price we booked on Internet was for a double room only, he did not try to charge more but implied, he should have charged more (for exclusive use). Owner Renato very welcoming, helpful, good English, met us at station in his Jag, gave us rapid tour of the area, plied us with useful information, but a bit quickly for travel weary visitors just flown in.

Great apartment, great host. We were in the apartment that had its own kitchen and bathroom so didn't have to share, although very strange having to use the washing machine in the bathroom used by the other people who were in the other bedrooms. Wonderful to have a combined TV/internet - free internet access in your bedroom - great for keeping in contact back home.

A little difficult to find as it is an aprtment block. Some difficulty contacting the owner to allow us in but once contacted the welcome and initial guide to the surrounds were excellent. Reasonably well positioned to public transport. Intenet access in rooms was a real bonus. Would definitely stay there again.
