Extremely courteous staff and good location. The bathroom in the room was fairly out of date, but this did not detract from the whole experience

Friendly and helpful staff! Organized. Clean!! Comfortable. Great location! Many places to eat nearby. Close to the downtown business area AND close to the tourist attractions; i.e., within walking distance. Tours were gladly arranged for by the staff. Minor negatives: Internet access was not available in the room. Internet is available in th lobby. There was an Internet cafe a half block away and another two and a half blocks away. Laundry service is not available in the hotel. A laundromat is two blocks away. A wonderful and quaint hotel in a wonderful country. We recommend this hotel without any hesitation. When we go back, we will stay there again.

My husband and I took a belated honeymoon to Austria this summer, and loved our stay in Salzburg at this hotel. The staff was wonderfully attentive and gave us great tips on authentic dining locals. Although not in the center of "old town," the walk across the bridge was only about 10 minutes- worth it for the price. We are already planning an anniversary trip back!

We have stayed at this hotel twice and loved it. The location is perfect to explore Salzburg, 5 mins to Mirabelle Garden. The room is clean and spotless, also comfortable. The front staff is always friendly and helpful. The only downfall was that there was no breakfast included with the cost. We will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again if coming back to Salzburg.

The service and cleanliness were second to none but the facilites were none existent. No bar, no hot drink facilitey in the rooms and no pay per view TV in the rooms. For a 4 star hotel I expected 4 Star facilities.

I servizi igienici sono assolutamente inadeguati alla categoria 4 stelle dell'albergo forse anche ad una categoria nettamente inferiore

Very clean and friendly place. Disappointed with the facilities in the room No tea or coffee making facilities. Found the star rating of the hotel misleading. Didn't find it value for money.

Hotel Mozart can be recommended without reservation. Rooms, breakfast and furnishings excellent, staff friendly and very helpful. Checkout time very liberal (11 a.m.) Views of the nearby hill (Kapuzinerberg) from some rooms on the 5th floor (503 - 506: 507, where we were, has a partial view from one bed!) Some traffic noise from street. Client information lacking in one respect: the room TV had an information channel (Ch.1), which also included a general and very informative film about Salzburg in various languages - but we only found out about it on the last day (by accident!) Now we know, and would return to Hotel Mozart with great pleasure - good value for money, even though not cheap!

We stayed for a total of 4 nights at Top Hotel Mozart. This is a relatively small, family run hotel and the staff without exception couldn't do more to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The reception staff and Oriel in particular were all very helpful with tourist information, restaurants etc. Salzburg is an easy city to get around and the hotel is well located. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet with a good view across roof tops to the mountains. We would happily return to Top Hotel Mozart on our next visit to Salzburg.

Very helpful front desk staff who suggested restaurants and made dinner reservations for us. Large double room with somewhat older bathroom. Close to historical sites and points of interest. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. Overall great price, I recommend!

I stayed at the Hotel Top Mozart in March, which is not a "heavy" tourist month. But the staff were very friendly and helpful, and I would definitely stay here again. However, if you have small children, you would have to learn to use public transportation (available through the Salzburg Card), because many of the attractions are a bit of a walk away. The distance is not at all uncomfortable for an adult, but it might be tiring for a child after a day of sight-seeing.
