Really lovely hotel in a quiet area near the university. Only a five minute walk from the S.Basilio vaporetto stop - all the major sites only a short boat ride away. The lively Campo Santa Maria Margherita with bars and restaurants was close by.Our room was cosy and clean. The air conditioning was essential (we stayed in July). Breakfast was served in a charming room and the consisted of cereals, yoghurt, various fruits, bread, ham, cheese- topped off with a homemade cake- superb! You could sit outside with a canal -side view.

The Hotel Tiziano, tucked away in a little corner of the Dorsoduro area of Venice, was very charming. We weren't sure we had made the right choice as we walked through the area where it was located, but found it to be a wonderful part of the city with a couple of very nice restaurants close by. Although some of the buildings around the hotel looked a little time warn, the Tiziano had beautiful window boxes outside and was well maintained and inviting. The staff was wonderful as they helped us through our lost luggage problem and seemed genuinely concerned that we enjoy our stay. Our room had a king sized bed, a desk, beautiful armoire and full bath including tub and bidet. All the comforts of home. The area is very quiet at night so we slept well. It is a bit of a walk to San Marco from the hotel, but nothing the average guest cannot handle. We had to walk the distance one day because of a vaporetto strike. Otherwise, it is quite easy to catch a vaporetto around the corner from the hotel. We loved the old world charm the most and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for good value in a quiet atmosphere with a lovely staff.

We loved our stay at the Tiziano Hotel. Everything was great. In particular, the Croatian lady that was on duty in the afternoons and early evenings was extremely helpful. The position of the hotel in a quiet corner of Dorsoduro was ideal for us, being away from the noise and bustle of most of Venice, yet only a short walk from the sights. We will definitely stay at Tiziano if we return to Venice.

A wonderful place to stay in Venice. The Tiziano was perfect for us on our first visit to this wonderous place. We would definately stay again and recommend it to anyone that can handle a few stairs. Breakfast was great and room was very clean. The location meant we could return to a quieter area and stroll to nearbt restaurants and bars. A friendly neighborhood, and picturesque! Thank you Tiziano.

We went for the Biennale and spent 3 nights (and though it was far from the main venues, it was a simple vaporetto ride away). Our room was great, quiet, clean, tastefully appointed, reasonably spacious. Breakfast was average. The location is well off the beaten track but we see that as a bit of an advantage in Venice.

We had difficulty locating the hotel but that was our only complaint. (Take water bus #82 at the railway station, get off at the Basillio water bus station, turn left, go over a bridge. To your left will be a bronze statute of a jazz trio playing their instruments. A Maritime Station building will be in front of you. To your right is the back of an apartment complex. Walk to the far left end of that complex and turn right, go straight down a little street, left, another right and that will lead to a canal. Turn left along the canal, go across the first bridge to your right, turn right at the 1st street after you cross the bridge and the hotel is a couple of buildings down on your right.) Once we found it, it became our favorite hotel. The staff is fabulous, always at the desk and always willing to help. We stayed in the handicap accessible room on the 1st floor but viewed other rooms before chosing that one. They were all beautiful and absolutely spotless. It is in a very quiet area with delightful restaurants nearby - specifically Pane Vino e San Daniele - and it is very close to a water bus station. I recommend it without hesitation.

My boyfriend and I stayed one night in the Hotel Tiziano, it is an amazing small place in a quiet area directly at a small channel, the boat is not far from the hotel and also Piazza Roma is not far to reach by foot. City center is little bit far by walking but all is described nice. Staff is friendly, rooms perfectly renewed and clean and comfortable
