| Three Bars Ranch is the adventure ranch of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. This beautiful log facility is located in the Valley of 10,000 Peaks. Guests have private log cabins arranged among landscaped gardens. SUNDAY ARRIVALS only; 4 NIGHT minimum May, June, Sept., 5 NIGHT minimum July, August.
Step back in time to when the horse was center stage with over 100 horses and a maximum of 40 guests we can suit each rider to a horse of their ability. Trails are abundant and diverse from meandering along the St. Marys River to climbing the mountains behind the ranch through the pines. This ranch offers varied riding experiences for all levels. Guests are always welcome to come by the reining horse barn and watch the show horses in training
Back at the ranch guests can choose from guided hikes, river rafting trips (July & August), trap & skeet, mountain bikes, tennis, volleyball, ping pong, billiards, horseshoes, indoor heated pool, fly fishing, fall pheasant hunting, outdoor hot tub and fitness room. Relax in a sun chair with one of the books from the ranch library or visit the ranch petting zoo to visit the goat, sheep, wild Canadian geese. You can even gather eggs from the chickens.
The ranch food is plentiful, fresh and well prepared including pancake breakfast cook-outs, steak barbeques and patio lunches. Evening programs range from cowboy campfires to volleyball games and are always designed to keep everyone involved.
Accommodations are all private log cabins, full bath with tub & shower, coffee pots, fridge, hair dryer, queen beds and private sun porch with garden and sun chairs. There is a coin operated laundry in lodge for our guests. The lodge houses the dining room, lounge, library, TV room, fitness area and ranch store. Free high speed Internet is available in the lodge and on the lodge porch.
Special note: Guestrooms do not have televisions or phones. TV is available in the main building. The ranch does accept credit cards. |
