| Reception staff were polite (nothing amazing). Room was clean but one set of lights did not work. Bar staff served drinks no chat no "Irish hospitality". Breakfast was a disaster, had to wait 10/15 min, no one asked what we wanted when my wife got up to get the attention of one of the waiting staff, a very rude young man waved her away & shoke his head as if to say will you stay away from me. The cooked breakfast was a very low standard. We had dinner on the second night, while is was edible I was not very impressed. While speaking to others at breakfast the next morning I think we were lucky as their dinner was in their words "disgusting". It is most annoying to visit an Irish hotel & find that most of the staff do not speak English to an acceptable level, when someone does not understand you, you give up on explaining what you want as most of the time all the staff are not fully fluent in English. Hotels if you want Irish customers - get bar staff & waiting staff that speak fluent ENGLISH. |

| Lovely setting with superb rooms and excellent facilities. The bar was a very cosy and welcoming place in which to to enjoy a pint of guinness.Liked the fact that breakfast was served till 10:30 as this allowed me to go to my early business meeting before breakfast. |
