Jaipur House was built as a summer retreat by the Maharaja of Jaipur in 1885. He had the privilege of selecting the best site in Mt. Abu and he chose the high cliff overlooking Nakki Lake and built a beautiful palace in the Rajput style of architecture.

| Before entering Jaipur House Mont Abu I intend to stay several nights in this nice city but this hotel was in so bad condition that I couldn't stay more than one night. Rooms so different from website. Sheets dirty, hole in pillow, leak on water-heater, not enough rate of water flow, dirty and bad condition of bathtub, mirror of bathroom in bad condition, window hide by old AC, dangerous electrical connections not secure on AC and in bathroom, staff with grease stain on clothes during poor breakfast, dirty holes made by fans in the cover ceiling of the breakfast room, and so on. |
