Definitely take advantage of the bus that takes you to and from the airport--it stops directly in front of the hotel. Just tell the driver the hotel name and they'll know where to take you. It's a little far from the main city life, but not terrible if you're willing to pay for a cab.

Good hotel - unfortunately my stay spoiled by inconsiderate guests.

The hotel is very old fashioned - although there has been a refurbishment - the bedrooms have not!We booked a non-smoking room and it was quite obvious people had been smoking in the room - consequently we changed our room to result in 4 men walking into our room 3.45am !! The receptionist had not changed the room on the computer! This was a very frightening experience especially for our children and is NOT the sort of service you expect from a 4* hotel!NEVER AGAIN!

The hotel is too far out of town if you want to be in walking distance. However, there is a good bus service and the taxis are not too expensive. The only problem we had was that we booked for 3 people but it was only set up for 2: 2 cups, 2 sets of towels etc. The towels came straight away but we only got the extra cup the next day as we left a note in the room. On the whole we were pleased with the hotel. The breakfasts were very good, with an excellent fruit bar as well as the usual breads, pastries, cereals and cooked items.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Although a bit of a way from the city centre the buses were very frequent and stopped just outside. The food was enjoyable and the staff both friendly and helpful. On checkout, staff very kindly held onto our luggage until late in the day so we could enjoy another day in Dublin. I would certainly recommend this Hotel to others.

My only 'complaint' was that the music on Saturday evening, although very good, went on very late and I was working early the next day. I would have loved to have joined in but needed my sleep which was very difficult to achieve given to noise.

Take care in high winds, the roof gets pretty creaky if you're on 2nd floor. A perfectly acceptable hotel for the money though.

I have stayed at a lot of 4* hotels but I would not say that this was 4*. The restaurant was being refurbished but we were not told this when we booked it. We could only have bar meals which were limited. Both times I ate at the hotel the food was over cooked. I put this down to them being very busy and the chef not being able to cope, as i over heard him saying to the bar staff not to take any more food orders for at least another 30mins.
