Although the Stamford Plaza is a fairly standard business hotel, I must say the staff were very helpful and efficient, and the location is excellent. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Adelaide.

On a very busy afternoon we arrived at the hotel and received good srevice, especially the valet parking and consierge. Very friendly and courteous, when the car was needed , it was always ready at the time asked for. Rooms are very comfortable. Had a pleasant stay.

The Stamford was very clean and upscale. However, compared to the other hotels I stayed at during my trip to Australia, this one was not my favorite . The reason was the that for an upscale hotel,I did not find the desk employees nor the restaurant options very viable. The food was way overpriced also. Of course, it was very clean and nice looking.

Because the hotel is in the heart of the city, access could have been a problem, however the off street drive and diligent staff made it easy even during peak hour. Food excellent, rooms are quiet! Will be back

I thought this was a great hotel. everything worked well. The only 'complaint' I have is that I would have liked to access the internet in my room but assumed I couldn't do this because there was no mention of it in the hotel folder. Just before I left I discovered a point in the room but it was too late - and in any case I would have wanted to know what the rates were.

The room was not of its star rating quality. It was a bland room. The furniture was out of date and the bathroom very white and looked like a hospital room. We asked for a smoking room and got a non soking room and the manager on board insisted that is what I ordered. As if!! My bestfriend smokes why wold I get a non smoking room. I would ahve gone to another hotel if a room wasnt available as we were tod. The room was way over priced...Maybe its just Adeliade.

Fantastic location close to the city and all its attractions - shopping, theatres; cinemas; restaurants; universities; libraries; museum; transport. Couldn't be better in this regard! For the ''average'' client perhaps a bit too expensive - even with the benefit of member dollars! Wonderful, friendly service from all staff.

A lovely hotel in a great location - very close to the CBD. The staff are exceptional in helpfulness and courtesy. Nothing is too much trouble. For the average person the price is slightly on the high side but overall this hotel is highly recommended.

We have stayed at this hotel sveral times. It has a great location and is good value for money overall. The staff are friendly and efficient. The bar on the ground floor needs to be a bit more exciting and consequently is not well used. However there are other good bars and restaurants in this area so this is not s major set back.

I would advise any perspective travellers NOT to accept the offer of valet parking as it took 25 mins. to retrieve the car in the morning. Self parking is half the price and a fraction of the time wasted. Also, the music from the nightclub could be heard where we stayed on the 19th floor until early hours of the morning so not good for light sleepers. The restaurant service had a lot to be desired too, but other than that, the service was good, the room was nice and the veiw was very good.
