Good area, good locality but hotel is getting pretty rundown and old. Good to have penta room for family of 5 though.Breakfast very ordinary. Definitely in need of a tidy up though.

VERY small and basic room but if you're there to see the beauty and wonder of Florence, then you won't mind. It's right near the train station and centre of town. Would stay here again!

Room was very small, but at back of hotel, so lovely and quite. Location was best of all - perfect spot from the station, and for value for money for a place to sleep was excellent! Not luxury by any means, but excellent price and location - would recommend.

Tiny room with camp beds and even smaller bathroom. however location excellent, staff friendly and everything clean. that said, room small and sparse enough that i wouldnt stay there again.

Don't accept room # 212! The bathroom is ridiculous! There is not enough space even to sit on the toilet and no way to deposit cosmetics! At least it was very clean and the location of the hotel is great!

By all means i think it was a bad choice. Much overpriced for the standard and very noisy rooms. If we would not have closed the windows, i dont think we would have been able to sleep at all. The only merit of the property is its closeness to the SMN train station, hardly 5 mins walk on the main road to the Duomo. Would recommend to book any other hotel but not this.

Positives: - Close to city center and train station ( 10 min walk ) Negatives: - Room in fourth floor and no lift - Impossible to take a shower without flooding the bathroom (some water gets to the room) - Breakfast is poor - too pricey

The property is a good location to get around in Florence on foot as it is centrally located. It is a safe area to walk around in the evening as it is on a main street and there are lots of people around. There is no elevator for this hotel and you do have to climb 2 to 4 flight of steps to get to your room depending on where it is. It is a budget hotel based on North American standard. The building trembles when heavy traffic goes by. Family of 5, Canada

The hotel is located very near the train station making it very easy to get to. It is on a very busy street but the room we had was to the rear of the building so we did not hear any street noise. Unfortunetly we had a view of another wall. It rained and yet was very warm.

Room is soiled and poor ventilation. Extra charge on air-conditioning, if not the room just like an oven! Water is dripping off the air-conditioner which our luggages get soaked overnight! Small, cramped shower room do not have shower curtain and the floor is wet and messy. Breakfast is like what you may expect in a youth hostel. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The location of this hotel was perfect - very close to the Duomo, shopping, restaurants and everything else wonderful that Florence has to offer. I was taken aback by the fact that I had to pay for the airconditioning, only because I was not aware of this. The establishment is clean but quite run down, with very steep rickety stairs that were pretty tough when carrying luggage (we were on the top floor). there was no parking available, only through a private company and it was extremely expensive - 25 euro a day.

The staff was really nice and were happy to answer our questions. However, if you have a lot of luggage don't stay here. There is no elevator and so walking up and down 5 flights of stairs with a lot of luggage was not fun. Also, the AC doesn't wotk that great so it was really, really hot. Not worth the money we spent.

Room was very small, not clean and air conditioning did not work in horrible heat.
