Singinawa Jungle Lodge is managed by Nanda and Latika Rana Nanda is from the Royal Rana family of Nepal but has spent over 20 years studying tigers in the forests of Madhya Pradesh. His expertise attracted the attention of National Geographic and he was appointed as a special consultant for their projects on the tiger for the year of the tiger in 1998. He has also made films for the BBC and Discovery Channels on the tiger. He has gained international recognition for his photographs of Indian wildlife and has held several photographic exhibitions internationally.Latika is a wildlife biologist with a D.Phil. on Tiger Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford. She is the first ever woman to be awarded a doctorate on tiger conservation and management, and National Geographic made a one hour film on her in the year 2000 called the Tiger Princess. Her work has also been featured in a documentary on the Discovery Channel.They are supported by Mike Galletly and Clair Campbell who have developed a passion for Indian wildlife during 18 years of extensive travel to many of India's National Parks and Sanctuaries.
