Location Description: There is no real 'centre' to the small village of Saariselka, and the Saariselan Tunturihotelli is located in a large area of land off the town's only road.
Exterior: It is made up of a combination of low rise sprawling buildings set in woodland. Some are wooden in design with others built from stone materials.
Lobby: The main building houses a medium-sized warm and welcoming reception with a small seating area and interesting gift shop. To the right of the reception is a pizzeria and bar which is popular with both locals and hotel guests alike.
Rooms: The numerous buildings comprise family apartments and individual guest rooms, all named after animals found in the surrounding wilderness. 50% are small, 30% medium and 20% large. All are in exceptional condition and decorated in rustic country style.
Dining: Is located on the first floor. It is a huge simply-furnished, clean room which overlooks the surrounding fells.
