It was a comfortable stay. However, everything in the bathroom is very old. The shower rod and the toilet seat, both were broken in the room we stayed. Apart from that, nothing major to complain.

Excellent location on the Lido, close to the Vaporetti stop. Decent rooms for anyone who is spedning the day sightseeing and has the basic needs of a clean room with a decent bath room and air con. Recommended for price conscious single travellers and young couples. Lovely location close to the beach! Btw: The only reason I gave only a 4 for quietess is the person living opposite the hotel: if you close the windows the hotel is quiet enough; if you have it open, you'll hear the folks opposite watching telly at full blast until 2am every night :-) if you close the windows you'll need the aircon on all night in summer.

A nice hotel in a quiet street. Good breakfast and generally helpful staff except for one rather unfriendly lady who booked us out. Only a few minutes walk from the boats so very convenient position. Would stay there again.

just beautiful and cosy. No complaints about the breakfast (as others do). There is a "billa"supermarket right around the corner for those who are very hungry. It was a perfect stay at the Rigel.Very recommandable.

this hotel meets my expectation and standard ,I like it very much. compared with Ryanair.com, I think Venere.com did much better than Ryanair did in terms of Correspondence between web pages and actual property. I booked a hotel in London on Ryanair.com, but that one was terrible dirty and disgusting!remember I paid nearly 100 pounds for one night including 15 pounds for the Tax and service fee to Ryanair.com.that hotel was just a nightmare.personally i would never book a hotel on ryanair.com. however, i just read the news Venere.com was bought by Expedia and ryanair.com was bought by expedia too...who knows whether they would become same worse or better...

This is the best deal in venice. Clean, air conditioned, and a great breakfast. The location is great for day trips to Venice and access to the beach. I would definatly stay there again.

when making an order on the site it said that there is parking available at the hotel included in the price, when whe got to the hotel they looked surprised at such request, saying that they only have 4 parking spaces and all are taken. Otherwise the hotel was nice.

As a frequent visitor to Italy and Venice Lido, this hotel is a typical italian hotel, which is well positioned for the ferry, beach and the main street. Nice hotel with very friendly staff especially on recepton. This was not our first time in Lido but will definetly stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was great, the staff was nice, the lady at the breakfast was very nice. The hotel is on a very quit street, only half a block from restaurants, and one block from Elizabetha st, which is the main street, only 10 min. walking to the beach. Lido Island is beautiful, the walk from the vaporeto (the water boat) was less than 10 minutes carryieng our logage. I suggest to buy a pass for 36 hours or 48 hours depending on how long your stay is and save money on the vaporeto as each trip is 6.5 Euros, which I found very expensive. Venezia is about 20 minutes away because the water boat stops at every stop before you get to St Marks stop. You MUST go to Burano Island, It is a colorful and picutureque place.

I travelled with my husband and daughter. Lido di Venezia is a great place to stay. There's a nice beach and grat restaurants around. The hotel has a nice location, it is clean and the breakfast is good. Internet doesn't work very well. I'd stay there again.

Rigel is a beautiful place to stay. I only wish I had more than one night to appreciate this beautiful Italian Hotel. The hotel is rich in every way and the employees were charming. The only difficulty I had was finding it and then parking. Both of these I am sure were aggravated by my state after a long day of driving. In spite of this I would recommend this hotel to my best friends and not tell any one else. 5 stars
