The room was not cleaned when we arrived (meaning they gave us the keys and we went in and it had not been cleaned). This is a very basic thing I would expect. The breakfast was horrendous...it was the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had anywhere. Then there was a problem with the reservation and due to some miscommunication betweent venere.com the hotel staff wanted us to pay $80 more per night than we have reserved it for. This was sorted by the venere staff but after that the receptionist wanted us to pay for the phone call she made to Venere office (which is also in Havana) which was a ridiculous thing to ask. And eventually she snapped at us. In summary I would not go back there. Hristina
