HOTEL IS UNDER MAJOR RENOVATION. Staff and service are superb, as usual. Good food, quick service. Everything was clean. I love this hotel and can't wait for renovations to be completed (first section reopens in summer).

This was our first trip to the Bahamas, and overall we were not disappointed. Beautiful beach, good food, kind people. The hotel was undergoing major renovations, which are sorely needed. When it is completed it will be lovely. The current rooms are old and the bathrooms need updating.

This hotel was a complete disaster!! Do not be fooled by the 4 star rating! Even the locals laughed when I said that this hotel was rated 4 stars. The entire grounds are run down and in desperate need of improvements. Good luck trying to get anything other than a bad cold sandwich anytime after 11pm. Service is not a priority here. I saw so much water damage throughout the hotel I thought we might be sliding into the ocean. do yourself a favor and stay closer to Paradise Island!!!

The hotel staff was amazing. They would have bent over backwards if you asked them too. The resort (rooms, food, pools, etc) was falling apart though. It needed some serious help. I will never stay there again.

I read reviews before going and knew about the renovation project. But we stayed there several times in the past and know the hotel and area. Our room was fine, on the seventh floor. Yes, it?s old, but they did everything possible to make us comfortable. And, there is that beach ! ! ! We were told up front which restaurants from the neighboring hotel were available on the inclusive plan so there were no misunderstandings. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would go back and it?s going to be great when renovation is complete. Get a massage.

Our room was damp and smelled of mold. The entire hotel was under constant maintenance which was loud and annoying. The food was horrible and there were no close by restaurants to go to either. If you weren't an all inclusive guest you were given a hard time about everything from borrowing a beach towel to ordering a drink. The whole experience was horrible.

l was very disappointed and embarassed taking my family to this resort. The Hotel was under renovations and we should have been advised NOT to go there. The fumes of paint and mildew were nauseating, my toilet ran constantly and my son-in-law who is a plumber had to fix both ours and the one in their room. The restaurants were closed in with no view at all.

Hotel was undergoing some renovations, carpet missing, loud noises. View from room was trash piles. Paper thin walls. Front desk was rude. No room safe. Continental breakfast consisted of 8 slices of toast. Charged for room service, I thought it was an all-inclusive hotel. Slow service. We would not recommend it to others, would not return to this hotel in Nassau, Bahamas again.

The hotel was OK, the beach and pools were great, the restaurants were so-so, staff friendly and quick, rooms getting very needed updating.

When I arrived at the hotel on the morning of 7-17-06, I was shocked to find that it was under construction for major renovations. The lobby had been reduced to a front desk with a few chairs. The Goombay Bar which was in the lobby was closed as were most of the restaurants in the hotel. I had spoken with various staff members at the hotel prior to my visit, and I was never told about the renovations. I have written to them to express my dissatisfaction with the whole thing.

Caution: This hotel is under construction - we were not notified. Two restaurants are closed. Two restaurants are open, but food is fair. Eat next door at the Wyndham/Crystal Palace. Four restaurants there are included in the all-inclusive plan. Room was clean, service was exceptional. Pool and Beach area is the best at Cable Beach. Huge beach, and pool area. Beach is fun for snorkling.

My friend and I really enjoyed this resort. Even though the rooms could use a little improvement, the trip was still awesome. The beach and the pool are outrageous and the all inclusive features are well worth the money. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We are already looking into booking a trip to go back next year!

Beware of hidden charges! We paid a ridiculous amount for the room, and after we arrived were stunned to find that there were additional charges. The Radisson puts mandatory charges on your bill for maid service ($4.50 per person per day) and the bellman ($5.40 per person per day) There is no choice about this - they just put those fees on your bill. You would think those costs would be included in the room fee. What's next - billing for the guy who cuts the grass? There were also charges for the gym ($10) and the in-room safe. We felt nickled-and-dimed to death

Great/Relaxing trip. The beach and hotel grounds are beautifully maintained. Hotel needs a little modernization internally (bubbles in hallway carpet/overhaul the rooms) but we hardly noticed the conditions after the 1st night and we certainly weren?t going to let anything ruin our vacation. The room was kept very clean for us. Upgraded to ocean-view room without even asking.
