Bitov – a romantic castle over the Vranov reservoir with illusion paintings and a natural science collection. The collection of 50 stuffed dogs is the biggest in the world. The castle features a wine bar, wine tasting, a zoo, a swordfight performance, and a castle fair in August.
Cornstejn - castle ruins over the reservoir in Vranov, it has been uninhabited since the end of the 16th century
Cizov - the cross-border village, with the Podyji/Thayatal National Park at its centre. Beautiful nature and sights.
Hardegg - the smallest city in Austria. You can see an exposition about the Mexican emperor Maximillian and an old American art collection.
Holy Stone – an iconic place with the remaining foundations of a Marian church and chapel over the village Mitterretzbach.
Hluboke Masuvky – an important site for pilgrims, with a Baroque Marian church
Hnanice - wine region and former pilgrimage site, with the Gothic church of St. Wolfgang with its "magic spring"; horseback riding is available here

King John’s Wine Cellar
This uniquely styled underground wine cellar, with its arched ceiling and passageways, is the oldest part of the hotel. The cellar offers a wide range of graded and archived wines, from South Moravia as well as from abroad. Only up to order in advance and against charges.
