Pension Tamaris

Our family run pension since 1968, with neat and comfortable accommodation, our own garden terrace, free internet access and plenty more, sits just 20 metres from the beautiful Adriatic Sea.

With the water so close, there’s no excuse not to get involved; you can swim, fish, windsurf, cycle or walk to explore this wonderful scenery. We’ll prepare your lunch to take with you.

We also have a restaurant and bar in which you can relax and enjoy a quiet drink.

The hotel is 150 km from the lively city of Dubrovnik

Pension Tamaris is situated in the centre of the quiet and small village of Lovište, at the western end of the Pelješac peninsula. Lovište is only 5 km from the ecotourism area of Nakovana. Just 18 km away you find the Franciscan Monastery and the Church of Our Lady of Angels, two of the attractions of Orebić. You can climb St.Ilija mountain, go biking, hiking and diving around Lovište and visit the Old Town of Kočula, just 30 minutes away. A one-day trip to Dubrovnik or to the Mljet national park is very rewarding activity as well.

Half and full board with a daily varying menu can be booked upon arrival or you can dine à la carte. Our restaurant offers you a variety of Dalmatian specialities, all prepared in a traditional way using fresh fish and crabs, olive oil and vegetables, all grown in our own garden.

After an enjoyable meal you can relax by the seaside with a glass of one of our famous wines from Peljesac and the Korcula area.

The hotel restaurant is open from 11:00 to 23:00.
Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:00.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 0.80 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Public parking is possible at a location nearby and costs EUR 1.00 per day.

Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Loviste is a small place and can be easily reached by car:
- Simply drive along the E65 to Ston and in Ston take the road to Peljesac peninsula.

It can also be reached by ferry from Ploce - a 50 minute sail - and then the Peljesac road to Loviste.

Airport Split - Kastela 160 km.

major cities are available.
