| Built in 1992, this hotel was partially renovated in 2003 and provides a total of 81 rooms spread over 4 floors as well as a garden area. The hotel provides a pleasant lobby, which contains a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange desk, a safe for guests' valuables, lifts, a café, a souvenir shop, a bar, a TV room and a games room. The inviting air-conditioned restaurant has a non-smoking area and highchairs for children. Guests staying on business may take advantage of both of the large conference rooms on offer. Guests may park their cars either in the hotel car park or in the garage. Younger guests are offered a children's playground. The family run Pendeli Hotel, in the beautiful mountain resort of Platres amidst a forest of fragrant pines, offers traditional Cypriot hospitality in combination with modern facilities, providing comfort without extravagance.
There are 71 guestrooms, three suites and seven junior suites. All guest-rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished and equipped with central heating(winter months), ceiling fan, fitted carpet, a three-piece bathroom, television, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, clock radio and private balcony, most overlooking the valley and the surrounding countryside.
Non-smoking guestrooms are available. The Pendeli's public areas are the nightingale's cafe, the Laurels dining room and veranda, the Robin's Nest bar (with fireplace for the winter months) and the Cedar rooms. Other facilities include: a heated open-air swimming pool (open from May until November) with pool bar, sun terrace and small gardens, a fitness room, Jacuzzi, sauna, a small library, a gift shop, a games room and a toddler play area. amongst the spa services are Reiki massage, aromatherapy and reflexology sessions and Indian-Head massage.
From the Pendeli one may pursue a variety of activities including hiking, trekking, mountain bicycling, and photography.
