this hotel was okay. our room was ok but the bathroom had scuffs all over the wall. a waterbug was crawling on my leg. the staff was very helpful and friendly. i got into an accident and they did not have a first aid kit handy. that was really disappointing ....then they hit you with a 10 dollar a day fee without warning for maid and energyservice. i would give this hotel a 2 1/2 to 3 1/2. think twice before choosing.

It's not the best hotel in terms of upkeep. But the staff was very friendly and helpful when I wanted to change rooms. Overall I was happy staying here and will probably stay here again.

When I entered the hotel i was disgusted from the roaches crawling all over the floor. The wall paper was chipping. The pools were green with slime. The water was unthinkable. I rushed myself to the hospital after dehydrating. Im thinking about pressing charges against the hotel. It all depends on how i feel when i get out of this wheel chair from falling in the hotel shower. Thank You

The resort was ok. It wasnt anything fancy. The room had lots of ants in it. That was a little problem for me because they were all over the sink where out things were sitting. Also, the check in was horrible. We arrived there at 2Pm and they weren't able to check us in till 4:30. The beach was nice, but lots of broken glass. You really get what you pay for.

This hotel is a budget hotel. The property is extremely old and in need of complete updating. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are small, with tiny bathrooms. Onsite restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was very tasty, however, service is extremely slow. The hotel is located across the street from a public beach, within walking distance to downtown shopping (Straw Market) and dining. The famous Fish Fry eateries are also within walking distance. My overall experience with this hotel was fair to good. I would only stay at this hotel again if I was traveling with a small budget. This hotel is good only if you are interested in a cheap hotel without many amenities.

I had done a lot of research before choosing a hotel to go with and I'm so happy that I decided to go with this hotel. My friend and I were essentially looking for a clean place to sleep and shower with easy access to activities. We had been told to stay on Cable Beach, but upon arriving on island I realized how far from everything Cable Beach was. From the Nassau Palm Hotel we were able to walk to Arawak Cay aka The Fish Fry and downtown. The Fish Fry is a local hotspot where you can get great Bahamian food with the local atmosphere and live music. Downtown Nassau is really where most of the restaurants and shopping is. The straw market is not much to rave about...most fake Gucci purses and crappy t-shirts, but worth looking around to find some authentic crafts like a lot of the wood carvings. Senor Frogs seems to be the happening place to go out, but the whole town is pretty dead when there isn't a cruise ship in port...maybe different during the summer. Ultimately, we were there for a dive trip. We went with Bahama Divers which has a shop on Paradise Island. Paradise Island is also just a short taxi ride and is where Atlantis is. You can tour around Atlantis on your own, but would go during the day since most of the animal exhibits are outside. All in all the island is very expensive..the food, taxi rides (gas is 5.00/gallon), and drinks. However, the people are all very nice everywhere we went. The hotel's service was excellent and the location is very safe. There is a police station in between the hotel and downtown right on the beach so we could walk around at 2 a.m.

This hotel is situated well enough in the center of town; you can walk to Bay Street, US Embassy, McDonald's, easy. It's by the main road which makes transportation accessible. Clean enough hotels - lobby, main areas. Hospitality is average to above average. The elevator works a bit slow. Rooms are quite acceptable, has a small refrigerator, no microwave, clean bathroom. Overall, quite ok, except for a mandatory $10/per person/day fee for maid service, etc. I would rather they incorporate that in the main fee, that way they do not inadvertently market themselves lower in value, which for me is a bit misleading.

i like the location of this hote. It allows for convenience to other areas of the island. The beach is directly accross the street and is beautiful. The hotel would do much better if they invested some money into new carpets and replace some of the dirty furniture. A fresh coat of paint throuhout would go a long way.

Poor hotel, very noisy area. Photos are very deceiving and we would not recommended it at all. Carpets were filthy in all if the 11 rooms we were offered (including suites!). Rooms smelt very bad too, spoilt our vacation mood. Staff were helpful and the best part was the taxi ride to The Wyndham!

I was looking for a decent place to stay and I got in. The reservation desk couldn't find me reservation, but I think that was the travel agency's fault. The room was clean and I had a nice view. The bed was sunken-in in the middle, I would fall into the hole. The pools were kind of dirty with dead bugs floating in them. The hotel is walking distance to everything. The local beaches are pretty dirty along the shore with tires, broken glass and other debris. The hotel staff was friendly overall. The natives are hustlers, always talk to the price down when shopping.

It was a great value. There were roaches. The location was okay, but it was not close to any other resort areas. The walk to the main Paradise Island hotels was about 45 minutes. The bed was hard and the air-conditioning was so-so. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, either.

I was not very pleased with the service of the hotel. We asked for the remote for the tv the first night and every other night but never recieved it. It also took us an hour to check in. The customer service was terrible.

For a single guy just relaxing and taken it all in this hotel is no that bad. It's close to everything. The blue crystal clear water on the white sandythe beach is just a walk across the street. Who cares if it's a pulic beach or not. Shops are on the docks with places to eat and drink. Downtown is only five minutes away from the hotel. I plan to come back... and stay here again.

The Nassau Palm Resort is a place i will recommend to everyone. Its location is very convenient and the rooms are neat and spacious. I however think some of the lobbies and elevator areas need a little more care.

The first room they gave us had dirty carpeting, a hole in the bathroom door, a cracked balcony window. We switched to another room that had a broken AC. At check-out, they charged us an extra $80 for maid service and energy something.

I was very pleased with the hotel. It was family friendly & in a pretty good location, close to downtown. The food in Nassau was at a higher cost than I expected but the hotel was worth the money I paid for it. However, I was upset when I arrive & found that there were more taxes I had to pay the hotel though. The swimming pools were still a little chilly but very clean. Friendly staff also.
