From Venice "Marco Polo" airport:
get bus 5 to the Venice bus terminal Piazzale Roma, it takes you about 25 minutes and the ticket is Euro 1,00 per person, per luggage. Then get motorboat number 1 or 52 or 82 to Venice railway station Santa Lucia (ferrovia), which is the next stop, it takes you about 1 minute and the ticket is Euro 3,50 per person, per luggage.
Get off at the railway station Santa Lucia (ferrovia) and then don't cross any bridge, just get the first large street on the right, "Lista di Spagna", walk straight on about 1 minute and then easily find Hotel "Moderno" (at Hotel Zecchini's hall) on the left side of the street at the number 154/b.

Getting there. ATVO buses run every 30 minutes to Piazzale Roma in the city centre. The journey time is 20 minutes and single tickets cost 3 EUR. The ACTV number 5 bus also goes to Piazzale Roma. The number 15 bus runs between the airport and Venice-Mestre train station. At Pizzale Roma, water buses (vaporetto) are available. A free bus service links the airport terminal to the airport jetty; from here, regular Alilaguna boats leave for the city. Single tickets cost 10 EUR. Private water taxis are available, but are typically very expensive. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Moderno Hotel is situated one-and-a-half kilometres from Rialto Bridge and the Accademia Gallery. Venice is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three-day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available.
