Excellent location however badly in need of refurbishment. Very dark inside. Room was a decent size clean & tidy but you cannot hide the fact that a refit is overdue. The Radisson is 4* also therefore the Meyrick is NOT!

Bar lacks atmosphere. Reception staff very friendly and efficient.Equipment ( eg step ladder, trolly for room cleaning) left in public areas and take away from the overall standard of the hotel. Overall I thought it was good value for money.

Bedrooms are extremely warm, making sleeping difficult. Opening the window made little difference. However I couldn't fault the rest of the hotel facilities and staff are excellent.

There were 25 of us who stayed at the Meyrick at the weekend for my Hen weekend and it was absolutely fabulous. The service and staff were fantastic. It was central, has a funky cocktail bar and the spa is brilliant. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else.
