| | I was really dissappointed. The owner and partner are all nice people.Alas they are more comfortable with portugues than english.Difficulty communicating. room was a ok size, but very basic with a tiny bathroom.Seems clean enough, but still feels quite grubby to me.Also locks in the room doesnt feel to secure to me. It's located in residential area. Interesting living amongst locals.Downside...restaurants few and closes early.Supermarkets and parking closeby and the top milan fashion outlet is closeby.Be aware...only cash!! That was the good, now too the bad....the breakfast is basic to the extreme. You get a prepacked sweetroll,1 glass of orange lemonade and coffee, tea or chocolate.Sugar rush is good for a quick start i guess. But the worse thing is it's location.I am glad that Venere has fixed it on the map. When i booked it seemed the hotel was placed close to the citycenter.(walking distance) But it's not!!.. this hotel is quite far from the citycenter. It's a long walk to the public transport. And there's no straight connection to the citycenter. You need to transfer.making it quite a hassle and long commute to the city center. Can live with very basic room and breakfast, but the location and wrong information about it was not forgiveble. After map correction, wat about correcting teh star rating? Íf this is 2 stars...1 star is to scary to contemplate. Anyway I think there is a much better budget options at better locations in Milan. |

| | I really liked Hotel Medusa and the area it's situated in. The atmosphere is friendly and youthful and there are many pubs and cafés in the surroundings. Maybe it's not the ideal place for older people but definitely for people between like 18 and 40.My dog also liked it there! |

| | It was a nightmare when we enter the smelling passage where the hotel is located. there was an elevator maybe 100 years old and it was working (sometimes). there was an italian guy "the owner" and wife as the whole staff. Not even a word in english. The location is a nightmare too. 20 min by wolking to nearest metro. Same to nearest taxi station. (To venere.com= the location of the hotel on the map is not correct. It is shown on via goldini however the street is a very long street 15-20 mýn by wolking an the hotel is located at the end of the street not begining as shown on the map) Breakfast was the poorest ever seen in italy. Rooms were quite noisy even at 3 clock in the morning. However they seem to be clean expect the awful smell. The price was almost twice of a 3 star hotel eventhough it was 2 star. Anyhow we are still alive and count ourselves lucky. |

| | I was really satisfied with the room and services. The only weekness was breakfast but as I found out these are common in this type of hotel. And possibility to pay by card would be great advantage, at the moment I was in the hotel I had to pay cash. |

| | If you enjoy hotels that are located in living and breathing neighborhoods instead of plunked in the midst of every other tourist trap in town, Hotel Medusa is a good choice for you. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel are several cafes, restaurants and bars that are populated by locals, and public transportation to take you into all parts of the city is plentiful (e.g., 3 blocks to the blue line of the underground train system). Also, if you are one who enjoys taking in a city via your own walking tour, you wil find the 15-20 minute walk into the city center an advantage. The couple running the hotel were fantastic, a highlight of my five weeks in Italy. My Italian is highly lacking, but through a hodgepodge of Italian, Spanish, and charades they went out of their way to help me navigate my way to the hotel and around Milan. If you make it to the Medusa, pass on a hello from me! |

| | We had a miserable stay in this hotel. Firstly it is not central as they say. Secondly it is over priced we stayed 2 nights and then found somewhere else. Someone who was coming to stay with us had to cancel due to a death in the family and we still had to pay for their room. The rooms were yukky. I left extremely miserable and i promise you it takes a lot to upset me. I have stayed in hundreds of pemsiones and hotels over Europe and this one will stick in mind for being overpriced and offering shoddy service and not being as central as they suggest. |

| | Very nice hotel and surroundings. But the breakfast wasn't interesting and it is wrong to write on the web-page, that the hotel is centrally located. |

| | This was the cheapest hotel near to the centre of Milan we could find, and we certainly weren't disappointed. On a major bus route and 30 mins leisurely walk to the Duomo, the location was very good, and although no-one at the hotel spoke any English, we managed to get by through sign language and lots of smiles. The room was big and nicely decorated, the bathroom very clean and looked new. We really enjoyed our stay there, and would recommend the hotel to everyone. It would help if you speak some italan though! |

| | Nice neighbourhood (bars, restaurants) but somewhat further removed from the center than anticipated. Service is good, but breakfast is a joke (coffee from machine and sweets in package). |
