Just returned from 2 weeks at the Mara Safari Camp. I last stayed here 2 years ago and was most impressed by the facilities, staff, and location. It has recently been taken over by the Fairmont Hotels and the renovations has really improved an already excellent lodge. The new tents are larger, with exceedingly comfortable beds, electricity 24/7 which is most unusual for remote camps/lodges. Chef Henry produces really excellent food, delightfully served by the friendly waiters. The driver/guides/naturalists are excellent and are forever surprising me with the mountain of information, they seem to manage to find all the animals and you can go really close to observe them without the animals being in the least concerned! All in all highly recommended, I can't wait to go out again in March!
