Description: The beachfront La Cohoba Hotel, bordered by coconut palms and sea grape trees, consists of a cluster of Creole-style bungalows and Colonial houses nestling among lush, tropical gardens on the tiny Guadelupian island of Marie Galante. Marie Galante has a surface area of 158 square kilometres and a good way to travel the short distances between attractions, such as the port town of Grand Bourg three kilometres away, is by bike, available for hire at the hotel. Marie Galante's aerodrome is a 15 minute flight from Guadeloupe's international airport at Pointe-a-Pitre. The aerodrome is nine kilometres from the hotel.
