Housed in original buildings built in 1790 the Hovborg Kro & Kursuscenter is situated in a charming village setting. The Holme River gently flows through the Inn’s garden and fir tree forest.

51 wonderful double rooms have direct access to small terraces that lead out in to the gardens and authentic cobblestone paved courtyard.
The Hovborg Inn specialises in Danish regional cuisine and offers an à la carte menu dominated by game, fish and locally sourced produce. Indeed the local river provides the opportunity for anglers to pit their wits against the plentiful supply of brown and rainbow trout. A large proportion of Hovborg’s wine is directly imported from Valpolicella, Italy.

The restaurant is located in the old main building originally from 1790 and still with a thatched roof. Remember to try the Inn’s specialty dish called Jutlandish pan dish.

During Monday to Friday the reception is open between 07.00 and 19.00. Saturday from 07.30 until 19.00.
Sunday from 08.00 until 14.00.
For arrivals outside of these hours please pick up the key at the restaurant until 22.00.
For arrivals later than 22.00, then please contact the Inn following via the details on the confirmation booking. You key will then be placed in a key box and you will be given a code.
Paying by credit card incurs an extra surcharge.

The Inns reputation for good Regional Danish cuisine that is carefully prepared like in the old days is well founded. Located in the countryside in a recreational area with marked out hiking tracks for long walks in the forest, around Hovborg, or down the footpath to the banks of Holme is an experience that guests have at there disposal and should take full advantage of.
