Decor is looking tired, great location but there are better hotels in Galway for the same money

I had a ground floor room right next door to reception and the hand dryers in the public toilets were very loud and annoying. Other than that great location for a hotel,

Good location for exploring Galway city. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Room was comfortable but as it was above the front door, it was a little nosiy in the evenings. Bath was rather grubby but apart from that, a very pleasant stay! Did not use the hotel restaurant so can't comment on the food. Bar staff were rather slow to serve and quite sharp when taking orders. Would be happy enough to visit again.

Too noisy. Breakfast did not suit me at all. I am a vegetarian and there was no mushrooms hash browns. The toaster was not working when I got there. Chef did some toast for me.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The service was good and the room whilst fairly standard was spacious and modern. Overnight parking was an extra 10 euro.

The hotel is in a nice location and is easy to get to. I had breakfast and the quality left much to be desired. The orange juice was practicaly water with colouring, there might have been a trace of ornage in there somewhere. The cooked breakfast was dried out and almost unpallatable. If I stay at the hotel again I will definitely find somewhere else to have breakfast.

Hotel very good, however, what let it down was the shower. Not a lot of water pressure plus head broken had to stand with hand on it to aim water at body.

This hotel has a perfect location. However, never stay in a room in the front the of the hotel if you want a night's sleep. We asked for a room in the back but were told there were none. The next day, however, after a fairly sleepless night, we aked to be moved and they kindly gave us a nice room on the River Corrib at the back of the hotel. What a difference! I recommend that you stay in Jurys only if you have rooms in the back of the hotel. The rooms were standard but comfortable and the Front Desk help were extremely polite and helpful.

Absolutely our favorite hotel during the entire 2 week vacation. Only stayed there one night, but we truly enjoyed it. Great hotel, great location, friendly staff. Large, quiet rooms. Perfect

Good central location but no room service at all .. vending machines on corridors and the inn seems to be a favourite for party goers rather than business people. Great for a weekend away base but amentities not suited to lone business traveller. housekeeping also do not provide iron / board to your room there is a communal ironing room instead.

Breakfast was a bit cold and greasy but as the location is so fantastic, finding elsewhere to eat was no bother at all. I am planning another visit to Galway in January with a large group of friends and have already re booked this hotel!

Hotel was very easy to get to and is only a ten minute walk thru the town from the train and bus station. If you are driving there is a carpark available. The check in was very efficient and helpful. We didn't dine in the hotel but there are ample facilities if you want to do that and the bar was fairly packed no matter what time of day we passed by it on the way to our room so its a good indication of how popular it is. The hotel is brilliantly located in that its at the top of the town and so you can walk everywhere and always be nearby to pop in and out as you like. The room itself was clean and neat with everything you need including tea and coffee making facilities. Galway has a water problem right now and Jurys fitted water filters instead of having to buy bottled water all the time. Would recommend to anyone to stay there.

The room was located at the street front. There was loud noise till 3 a.m. At 6 a.m. the traffic started roaringpast our window. The room was fine but the location of guests' rooms at the front of the hotelright on th street is a disaster. Why not locate the office/reception there leaving the guests some chanceof getting a sleep.

The food and room were good considering the price that we paid, although if you have a car it is quite complicated, probably better to find an accomodation a bit further to the centre.

Perfect location right in the heart of the city. A stones throw away from the bars and nightlife. Staff were very friendly and responded quickly to our queries. Even though its close to the nightlife, and our room was on ground level at the front, we didn't find it noisy whatsoever. The rooms were very clean and we found this hotel excellent value for money. Would not hesitate in staying at this hotel again and would certainly recommend it.

Room occupied was Room 101 which overlooks the lower part of Shop Street. There are several pubs in the area and revelers can be included to be a bit noisy. The room was comfortable clean and very good value for money. The only down side was the noise outside.

Location was fantastic, only negative is that there is now a charge for car parking which was previously free.
