The youth hotel “Youtel” is situated in a peaceful location, approximately 4 km outside of the city of Bitburg. It stands beside a ski slope and has a view of Bitburg and the green countryside of Eifel. The city centre is easily reached by car, bus or on foot via a footpath.
The hotel offers 90 double, triple and quadruple rooms in a modern ambience, and is suitable for those travelling in groups, for holiday camps and for families, as all rooms feature a connecting door.

The city of Bitburg, belonging to the Eifel region, is centrally located within Europe and benefits from transport links to Luxembourg, Belgium and France. Bitburger country has a rich variety of activities and special qualities: unspoilt natural landscape, the healthy climate typical of a low mountain range, medieval castles, numerous churches and chapels, authentic farmhouses typical of the region, the world-renowned Bitburger brewery, and countless leisure facilities.
A number of leisure activities are possible, such as riding, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, archery and much more. For thrillseekers, a visit to the Nürburgring is highly recommended.
The hotel has its own beach volleyball court with real tournaments, a street ball pitch and a large sports field. Guests seeking peace and quiet are free to relax on our bistro's sunny terrace or can find campfire-style romance at the barbecue area.

Our rooms are modern in style, with every 2 rooms sharing a bathroom and toilet.
Alternatively, you may wish to stay in one of our comfort rooms, which are fitted with either single or double beds and feature a separate shower with wc, as well as a colour TV (availability and supplement on request during check-in.)

We do not offer rooms with facilities for the disabled.

The hotel features a self-service restaurant (reservation required), in which you can make up your own meals from a buffet. By prior arrangement we can cater for special dietary needs with, for example, vegetarian foods, diet foods, or foods fulfilling criteria relating to religion. Packed lunches are also available for when you are out and about.
During the summer months the hotel hosts a barbecue evening, with delicious salads and side dishes. If you are in need of smaller nibbles to keep yourself going, our snacks and cold drinks machine is available 24 hours a day.

Transportation:
From Cologne:
- Take the A 1 towards Trier, passing Euskirchen-Blankenheim
- Continue on the B 51 through Prüm towards Bitburg, which you should pass in the direction of Trier
- Shortly after Bitburg (approx. 1 km) take the exit at the leisure centre "Flugplatz Bitburg"
- Follow the signposts to the youth hotel.
From Koblenz:
- Take the A 48 towards Trier until you reach Mehren
- Take the A1 until you reach the junction at Wittlich
- Take the A 60 towards Bitburg until you reach the junction at Badem
- Take the B 275 towards Bitburg
- Once in Bitburg, take the B 51 towards Trier, and exit at the leisure centre "Flugplatz Bitburg"
- Follow the signposts to the youth hotel.
From Trier:
- Take the B 51 to Bitburg
- Approx.1 km before Bitburg exit at the leisure centre "Flugplatz Bitburg"
- Follow the signposts to the youth hotel.
Comments:
You are welcomed to bring along your own towels and linen for your stay with us, but please note that sleeping bags are not allowed. Of course, you are also able to rent bed linen and towels from us at an additional fee.
