I would definitely recommend this hotel, it certainly has that extra novelty having a waterfall in the courtyard. I can also recommend Isaacs Restaurant which has a very good menu, however, I would advise people to book because it is very popular. The location of the hotel is perfect too, as it is only a short walk into the centre of town. The parking arrangements are somewhat unusual in that it is in a carpark of a nearby church.

Hotel very easy to get to by bus from the airport. Just 20 mins. Staff very friendly and helpful. lovely seating area in the coutyard beside the waterfall. Only downside was the noise of peaople sitting there late at night chatting if you had your bedroom window open.

Pretty good hotel. 5 minute walk to the city. We were on the first floor which is a bit noisy but it didn't really phase us. No air conditioning which was ok, if it gets a bit hot it's a problem because you can't open the windows. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is very roomy. The rooms are big. The restaurant is very nice set beside a waterfall. Would most likely stay here again when visiting Cork.

I always stay at this hotel and always will however my last stay over 3 nights was not so great. The room was at the front of the hotel and with no air conditioning meant I had to keep the windon open and the noise from the traffic and the bars and late night revellers meant I got no sleep for the entire 3 nights. If staying at this hotel please ask for a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the water fall. This time the 294 euro was not value for money.

Very comfortable and easy to get to (bus to and from airport stops at front door, 8 euros return). Hotel is only a 10 minute walk from main shopping centre where there are lots of pubs, cafes and resturants We never tried Greenes resturant in the hotel but it was always busy which is always a good sign.

This is not the most luxurious hotel in the world, but the service is good, staff are friendly and it is in a very central location. My only complaint would be that the room we were in was over the bar and was a little noisy at night. So avoid 104 if you can.

Food was excellent and recommend booking a table at Greenes, gets very popular. they also do an early bird menu from 18.00-19.00. Room was large and comfortable. Our room overlooked the courtyard by the hotel entrance which was really noisey in the evenings until the early hours of the morning, which was a shame as we never got a good nights sleep the 3 nights we were there. I would say that the reception staff were either very rude (French lady) or very nice (Irish lady).

Thought the hotel and setting with the waterfall was wonderful. The bedroom was so much more tasteful than the site gives credit for and spotlessly clean. There is an airport shuttle bus stop right outsite the hotel so getting there couldn't be easier. My only dissapointment was the price was slightly higher than quoted on this site - I presume due to euro rate changes? Did think it was a little pricey with no breakfast included but the original setting made up for it - suppose that's what you pay for!

This was my third visit to Cork the other two were with my wife. On our first visit we were recommended Green's restraunt by the receptionist at the hotel we were staying in On both previous trips we cold not get a booking at short notice Well after having eaten in Greene's I now know why you have to book. The food and service was 1st clas. The reception and bar staff were also very friendly. Next trip I will be taking my wife and will make sure we book Greene' restraunt in advance

When in Cork we always try to stay in Isaacs. It is very near to the train station and just a few minutes walk from the center of town. Greene's Restaurant in the hotel is always good and the setting is lovely with the floodllt waterfall. Recommended

Drinks were normal hotel prices which we expected. We only had breakfast (which you needed to pay 10 euro for full cooked and 7.50 euro for continental) - both really nice. Hotel looked newly refurbished - only thing that looked out of place were the bathroom doors in the bedroom - but no complaints at all on the appearance of the rooms or the whole hotel. Cobbled courtyard was lovely. Hotel was right in the heart of things - just around the corner from shopping, restaurants and bars. I would definately stay there again and recommend it to friends as a cheap, clean, cheerful place!

We would certainly return to this hotel and we would also recommend it to others. We took the shuttle bus from Cork airport to the Hotel Isaacs, which was quick and dropped us right outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. We paid for Continental breakfast at Green's restaurant in the morning, which was good value for money at 7.5 euros. The rooms were very nice, clean and our room (220) looked out onto the waterfall, which was a great feature. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from Cork centre, has a Spar next to it and has a good selection of Irish pubs on the same road. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back to say at Hotel Isaacs again.

Choose hotel because of the lovely picture of the waterfall - it indeed was beautiful - but after that it was downhill. Now I am not a fussy person but the public areas of the hotel filled me with dread and that was even before we got near room. When we got our room it was better than I was hoping for considering what I had just seen of the hotel (the fact that we had to use our room card to open the door to the stairs or a security door to the lift and that the gate to the entrance of the hotel was closed and you had to ring a buzzer for access all worried me a bit - but when I seen all the winos outside in the street all became clear). Lots of street noise - car park not convenient but better than nothing and had to walk past all the winos from a hostel to get to it. Would not recommend this hotel.

A great hotel, with friendly reception staff. The room was very superior (we've stayed in 4/5* hotels which were not this good!) We had an `early bird` meal in Greenes restaurant, an exceptional meal yet at a budget price. I would certainly visit the Isaac again and would recommend staying here if in Cork..........

The hotel is very well-situated in the city centre with a shuttle bus to the airport if needed. The rooms are excellent, clean and comfortable. The hotel and adjacent restaurant provide an excellent menu and good food at resaonable prices. Parking is avaiable close by, but not at, the hotel and no charge is made for this service.I recommend this hotel and will stay there again if in Cork.
