| Superb location especially if the weather is being kind. Not ideal having to go to the local Store to find the landlords so you can check in. Saw many guests with the same problem. Not cheap by UK standards but thereabouts for Ireland. Laterooms quote a pounds sterling rate which is cheaper than exchange rates when your invoice prints in Euros. This would have taken us over our Budget cap.I felt that our upstars room (108) was fairly small/closed in due to the coombed ceiling. Good luck with the short lead on the teasmaid! There are now 10 letting rooms but a large comfortable lounge is available downstairs and the window tables in the breakfast room have great views. Breakfast, from 8am, offers a Full Irish as well as cereals etc and was very good. The only local restaurant is reasonably priced compared to Dingle and the food looked excellent. The wife had a good pasta but I had the blandest pizza I've ever had. Shame because everything else looks good and the place was very busy. |
