This hotel has a lovely garden with a fountain, lots of flowers and trees and little stone benches scattered around. So very peaceful and relaxing. Warm, friendly staff who were attentive but not intrusive. Just the right distance to drive from Rome on your first day if you haven't driven in Italy before!

The hotel is amazing! An old medieval castel transformed into a restaurant and a hotel. Super romantic! One should spend at least 2 nights in order to get into the mood properly. There are wonderful gardens outside, elevator (a real jew in Italy!), everything inside is new and spotless. The city is also lovely, and pparently there is plenty to do around, specialy if you like caves and hiking. There is a low point tough: dont even try to get there if you are not armed with a gps...

The hotel is in a beautiful and historic building with its own gardens and is a close walk to anywhere in this small but very interesting town. The people we met were friendly and were willing to share their pride in telling about their home. It is worth the trip out off the beaten path to visit here.

Excellent hotel with an outstanding price/quality ratio. The room was very spacious, we had booked a triple and we got three comfortable beds, as opposed to getting some kind of back-breaking makeshift campbed, which is very often the case when you book a triple. The surroundings are beautiful and the hotel has a private garden accessible through a pedestrian bridge. Breakfast was abundant and good, with lots of cakes and tarts. Only the orange juice was of the artificial kind (powder-based). Overall, a good 4-star hotel at the price of a 2-star.

It would be advisable to have an opportunity to choose a room based on a picture! But we enjoyed the stay and recommend the hotel to anybody! A very special town worth a visit!
