Once a part of the big agricultural estate of the pilgrims’ hospital, Santa Maria della Scala, between the 11th and 17th century, it has become a charming 3-star-hotel, combining modern comfort with traditional Tuscan architecture and furnishing.
Location Description:
Situated along the Cassia road, from the hotel you can easily reach Siena, Crete, Montalcino, Montepulciano and the most fascinating abbeys of the territory. The hotel is also on the antique pilgrims’ path, Via Francigena, making it an obligatory stage for those who make a pilgrimage to Rome.
