| Heritage should be probably the last hotel you should pick if you want to stay in a clean environment. I'm a stickler for cleanliness. When I entered my room, there was this vague nauseating smell in the air as if the room had not been aired, cleaned and used for a long time. The bathroom did not have any ventilation and the toilet role wasn't changed. Even the shower door was broken. I was afraid that if I touched it, the door would come crashing.
Back to my room, The air- conditioner was kaput and the curtains gave the room a very dark appeal. Even the remote to the television was broken. My bed was far from clean.. when I removed the upper cover and checked the blanket out, it had a lot of hair, and seemed as if someone had slept in it and the covers were not changed. I dint even bother to remove the other bed covers after that.
The room service is prompt and the waiters are very friendly. But even then, this could not take away the fact that the food was not palatable. The dishes in which they were brought were not washed and my soup had mosquitoes in them. They had some black stuff sticking out. All over. When I complained they said they couldn't do anything because the stuff comes from the restaurant. I had an upset stomach when I came back home.
No I'm not exaggerating anything. It was really that bad! |
