The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, and many spoke English quite well. The breakfast buffet was convenient, although the food was not exactly warm. Free airport shuttle was terrific, and the shuttle drivers were very helpful. Views from the lounge and room balconies were beautiful. Their "Internet Corner" has five laptops with free access, which was really great. Only complaint I have is the beds and pillows are pretty hard, although perhaps that is simply a cultural difference between Japan and the US. I would happily stay at the hotel again.

We received excellent service from the hotel staff, particularly the concierge desk staff. The rooms were clean and large, with great views. The hotel is situated on a hill, among other hills, in a residential area, with other small hotels in the vicinity. It is difficult to find when returning after dark in your rental car. Parking is at a premium. The location is inconvenient because there isn't a coffeeshop in the hotel. There are buffets and higher priced specialty restaurants. The lounge charges 600 yen for a bottle of beer. We found that we had to go elsewhere to eat our meals for a better selection and price. Shopping and restaurants were about 20 minutes away by car. Nothing close by was available within walking distance.

I went to Okinawa to visit my fiance who is in the Marines. It was our first time "traveling overseas," as he had spent little time off base and I had never been out of the country. We initially were to stay in the hotel for 3 nights, but extended out stay to 5 because we enjoyed it so much. The restaurant was wonderful, we ate there 3 nights and the lounge was great too (good drink specials). There isn't a lot to do in the area immediately around the hotel which was disappointing, but the view from the balcony is gorgeous. There is an hotel shuttle to the Naha airport and two nearby beaches, we took the shuttle to the beach. We weren't impressed by this particular beach, however it was cool to have transportation. The staff spoke enough English for us to work with and they were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, we made sure to have a queen sized bed. I made tea in the room every morning and drank it on the balcony, it was wonderful. They have great military rates and are about a 12 cab ride from Camp Foster on the island. I highly recommend this hotel, we will probably stay there next time I visit him in Okinawa!

This was a great hotel. Just bring your own food in. The breakfast buffet was ho-hum...

Online hotel description mentioned rooms with ocean views. I misunderstood that to imply that this is a waterfront hotel. IT IS NOT. It is perched up on a hill and has a view of the Pacific Ocean from perhaps a mile away, or more. Very disappointed because I expected beach-front access. Don't make the same mistake. Otherwise, it is an upscale hotel in terms of service and amenities.
