Transportation:
From Macroom take the R584 to Ballingeary. Turn right at the sign for Gougane Barra one mile outside the village. The hotel is at the entrance to the National Forest Park.

| This hotel would not be to everyone's tatste in that it is very old fashioned. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely simple.The breakfasts are excellent, the evening meals good though we found them alittle dry.Where this hotel really scores is in the setting, probably the most beautiful we have ever stayed in. |
