Dirty, unfriendly, overpriced for what it was. Cleaning staff had annoying habit of re-packing my suitcase for me - i.e. putting dirty clothes in with clean ones.

This is the second hotel we have stayed at in the termini area and was adequate for the price in high season.Three kids and three adults in adjoining triple rooms as requested and balconies for a bonus.Staff were helpful and the rooms were spotless , minor faults in showers but that happens everywhere due to wear and tear

Rooms very basic and no safe. Staff neither friendly nor helpful - despite convenience to station would not recommend.

After reading some of the adverse reviews of this hotel I have to say that my wife and I were a bit apprehensive. However, we were pleasantly surprised - and relieved. Our room was adequate and clean and the balcony was a bonus. Although, as our room overlooked the street we had to suffer early morning traffic noise. Breakfast was rather meagre as there was little choice of anything - except the flavour of which jam you had! The guy on reception when we arrived (and all other times we saw him) was not the friendliest person we've ever met. Location of the hotel was pretty central for most things. Overall, not really much to complain about. We would go back there.

Very handy for Termini Railway Station, Metro, Opera, Santa Maria Maggiore & various eating places. Very basic hotel. Split on several different floors, one lift with long waits, no available stairs Decor of room poor, plumbing poor, TV reception poor. Stayed here 4 years previously and these definitely worse now. Size of breakfast area now less cramped since reception moved downstairs. Breakfast very simple. Plenty of clean towels, soaps & shampoo. Adequate hair dryer. No safe deposit in room. Little day light in room.

i think i was unlukcy, the photos dont have nothing, but really nothing to do with the real room. old, brooken things, humidity a lot, only the elevator, no stairs access to go inside, but it is rome, not a very good place for nice hotels. Very well located and venere.com service was very good.

what was pictured and what was provided was vastly different. A closet was more spacious than the room I was provided. Food was also very weak.

Pros: 1) Staff are friendly and speak decent enough English 2) Price was reasonable given to its close proximity to the termini (2 and a half blocks) 3) Breakfast is decent, a crossiant, rolls, orange juice and capuccino 4) Rooms are clean, except for the room that I stayed in coming back to catch a flight back to the States. Cons: 1) Walls are paper-thin; you can hear the TV noise and people talking, and worse of all, toilet flushing at night. 2) Not enough heat turned on in the room, makes it kinda cold at night and in the morning.

Whilst the room was spacious and hotel is located only 2-3 min walk from the main Termini Railway Station, I found the hotel staff to be relatively unhelpful almost to the point of being rude. The "continental" breakfast was the worst I ate during my 2 month tour of Europe (very basic and not particularly fresh looking). Also our bathroom had a slightly grotty feel to it, it was fairly spacious but the grout and edges in the shower were a bit mouldy and the drain didn't work properly causing the shower to flood the bathroom on a couple of occasions. The bathroom smelt a bit funny too. I will be staying elsewhere next time in Rome.

Definetely, it does not correspond to the photographs, and to a three star hotel.

I was a bit expensive for the quality but it was in a good location so that must be considered also.
