As Freycinet Lodge is located within a pristine National Park, entry fees do apply. Passes are available from the visitor information centre at the entrance to the park or Freycinet Lodge reception with prices for a 24 hour vehicle pass starting at $20.00.

Freycinet Cabin - The Freycinet cabin is a large one-room cabin. It is ideal for a couple or two adults and a child. The lounge/sitting area is part of this room and a balcony is accessed via glass doors. Bedding configuration consists of one queen-size bed and one double sofa bed. Max: 4 people. Main features are:

Wineglass Premier Cabin - The Premier Wineglass cabin is our top-of-the-range cabin, suitable for couples only. These spacious open-plan cabins are for the discerning traveller and feature a fresh new style for Freycinet Lodge. They have quality fittings, a king-size bed, double spa bath, cd player, mini bar with high profile local beverages, and a complimentary welcome platter. The ensuite bathroom includes separate shower and quality toiletries, hairdryer, fluffy towels and bathrobes. They are located close to the main lodge building and have easy access to Richardson's Beach.

Transportation:
Freycinet Lodge is a comfortable 2.5 hour drive from Hobart or Launceston. (Add 45 minutes from Devonport). From Hobart, cross the Tasman Bridge and take the Tasman Highway to Sorell. Turn left at Sorell and follow the highway north. The Freycinet junction is approximately 34km past Swansea. Freycinet Lodge is approximately 28km from the junction, just inside the National Park boundary. You can arrange a National Parks Pass at the Visitor Centre.

From northern Tasmania, take the Tasman Highway from Launceston through Scottsdale to reach the East Coast at St Helens, then head south through Bicheno to the Freycinet junction; or follow the Midlands Highway south from Launceston, turning left just past Conara and driving through Fingal and St Marys to reach the coast. Head south to the Freycinet junction.

From Launceston, take the Heritage Hwy (A1) to Campbell Town, turn left onto the Lake Leake Hwy (B34) and then left again onto the Tasman Hwy (A3). About 15-20 minutes past the junction turn right onto Coles Bay Road (C302). Travel through Coles Bay township to reach the entrance to Freycinet National Park. The entrance fee is AUD10.00 per car for a day pass. Once inside the national park, Freycinet Lodge is a further 2 km on the right hand side.

From Hobart, Freycinet Lodge is just 2 1/2 hour drive along the scenic Tasman Hwy (A3), through Sorell (or Richmond), Triabunna and Swansea. About 20-30 minutes past Swansea, turn right onto Coles Bay Road (C302). Travel through Coles Bay township to reach the entrance to Freycinet National Park. The entrance fee is AUD10.00 per car for a day pass. Once inside the national park, Freycinet Lodge is a further 2 km on the right hand side.
