Getting there. Bus number 9 runs every 30 minutes from the airport to the train station in Ancona city centre for 1 EUR. Taxis are available in front of Arrivals and take about 20 minutes to reach Ancona. A fare directly to Hotel Fortuna is about 35-40 EUR. From the train station, bus letter J runs every hour. Alternatively trains depart for Castelferretti station, 200 metres from the hotel.

Getting around. There is a good public bus network in operation in Ancona. Regular ferries connect from Ancona's harbour to Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece and Turkey. The train station links the town to the rest of Italy.
