Very nice and helpful staff. The rooms were a little small, but fine for my husband and I. The only complaint was that everytime the person in the room next to ours would flush the toilet we could hear it in our room. Great location that was near lots of shopping and close by tourist sights.

Hotel Forte was a good choice for our week-end stay. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. No doubt I'll be coming back to Forte whenever I'll be in Rome. Well located, clean (although rooms are rather minuscule), and with an outstanding rate price / service, Hotel Forte is an excellent option for any stay in Rome.

We booked a flat. It is not in the hotel, but few streets nearby. The flat was OK but the TV was with one station only (Italian), and the flat is in the 3rd floor without elevator. But all in all, I would recommend this hotel to others. We enjoyed the breakfast.A great location near the Spanish Steps. The hotel staff was very helpful, and speaks fluent english. But all in all, I would recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel Forte is easy to tour from due to its great location to the subway system and the Spanish Steps. Our first room (#134), the A/C did not work, the shower is too small, and windowed next to the breakfast room, so it was quite noisy in the morning. At our request, the staff moved us to another room that met our expectations. The breakfast room is small in comparison to other hotels visited. This hotel staff was the friendliest we met on our trip, and spoke fluent english.

The Hotel Forte was a fantastic place to stay- so central to many places. It was a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps and about a 5-7 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and public transport. The Colosseum was about a 20 min. walk with lots to see on the way. We stayed in the apartment (quadruple room) and it was clean and modern. It was very close to many restaurants and a little supermarket. It would have been helpful to know in advance that the apartment is not located in the same place as reception. With 2 tired, hungry, children at night and plenty of luggage, it was quite a feat to turn around and find the apartment about 2 blocks away.It was not labelled in any way and was on the second floor (no lift). It would have been better to have someone to escort us there, but arriving at night meant there was only one staff member on duty. After this initial hassle though, the hotel was perfect and we received excellent service from all female staff. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Europe for this type of hotel and the airconditioning helped immensely. We would definitely recommend this hotel, but would encourage you to find out as much about the location of your room in advance.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this very friendly, clean hotel. It was in an excellent position, being able to walk quite easily to most of the main attractions (I know because I had my 80 year old mother with me!) The hotel staff were very pleasant and knowledgable and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Located within an easy walk from the Metro (Spagna) and in a very good area the hotel is a very good base to explore Rome. A few mins from Spanish steps and lots of good quality shopping nearby. Room clean with good aircon and a good sized bathroom with a comfy bed! If the big test is would I stay there again...then the answer is Yes.

Great Hotel! Close to the Spanish Steps and other tourist hot spots! Great breakfast buffet and recommendation of restaurant by Antonio. Although the air condition worked just fine, it was too loud. Also, constructions were going on outside the hotel that you could hear it. But all in all, I would recommend this hotel to others.
